A teenager confronted her alleged rapist about whether he had confessed to his girlfriend about cheating with an underage girl, a jury has been told. The series of messages was detailed at the start of Lachlan Young’s trial in the Victorian County Court on Thursday after he pleaded not guilty to raping the 16-year-old girl. Lachlan Young is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl. He has pleaded not guilty. Anita Lester Young, 24, met the teen at a small house party in the Ballarat suburb of Sebastopol on February 4, 2024, prosecutor Andrew Buckland told the jury. The pair chatted, exchanged Snapchat details, and as the other partygoers went to bed, the local man asked the teen if she “wanted to do things”, the jury was told. Their remarks and comments reinforce the firm message from Defence Minister Margarita Robles, who has in recent days repeatedly stressed in the Autonomous City of Ceuta that "Ceuta and Melilla are not to be touched". Robles has sought to convey a sense of calm to the people of Ceuta and to guarantee that the Armed Forces will remain deployed to support the population. In a brief appearance, Robles insisted that what happened on the 30th cannot be allowed to happen again: "Ceuta and Melilla are utterly Spanish", she said, before highlighting the work of the troops deployed for the past 11 days. "People in Ceuta should know that their Armed Forces will be by their side. We are not going to abandon them," she assured. Analysts believe the message was not only intended to reassure and dispel fears in the face of rumours of a

One of San Francisco’s most exclusive clubs is facing bombshell allegations of harassment — including from a dishwasher who says he was mocked as a “hunchback” because of his spinal condition. Rene Panti, a kitchen worker since 2021 at The Battery, the elite invite-only club frequented by politicians and celebrities, claimed in his lawsuit that he had to suffer the cruel taunt because of his scoliosis and was even sexually attacked and ridiculed about his genitals. The Battery SF is an elite invite-only joint. Instagram/@thebatterysf “Your penis doesn’t work anymore,’’ a coworker once sneered at him — while a colleague pinched his nipples another time, according to the suit. Panti said in court documents that he was berated weekly for three years by coworkers, who spat discriminatory slurs at him while management did little about besides asking the staff to “stay professional.” The plaintiff, who has congenital scoliosis, which is curvature of the spine, said that in addition to being called a “hunchback,” he also was derided as “useless.” Xochi Birch (left) and Michael Birch founded The Battery,  » Read More
