Australia demands removal of fake photo of soldier posted by official government spokesman, as ties further deteriorate.Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison has condemned a fake image of an Australian soldier posted on the Twitter account of a Chinese government spokesman as “truly repugnant” and demanded the post be removed. The image, depicting a grinning Australian soldier holding a blood-stained knife to the throat of an Afghan child, was posted on Monday on the verified account of China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian. Morrison said the Australian government was demanding an apology from China and had asked Twitter to remove the tweet, which was pinned at the top of Zhao’s feed. “It is utterly outrageous and cannot be justified on any basis,” Morrison said. “The Chinese government should be utterly ashamed of this post. It diminishes them in the world’s eyes.” Relations between Australia and China have deteriorated sharply in recent months. China has introduced a string of economic sanctions on Australian goods and state-controlled news outlets have repeatedly attacked Australia over a range of issues. The bad will appears to have been prompted by Canberra’s decision to push back on Beijing’s growing power in the region and call for an…

Image Source : TWITTER YouTube for Android TV supports 8K The latest YouTube for Android TV update has reportedly started rolling out limited support for 8K streaming. According to a report in Android Police, YouTube TV for Android v. 2.12.08 version includes support for 8K streaming to TVs running Android 10 and above. The changelog states that the update brings 8K streaming support to a limited number of devices, but it doesn't specify exactly which models are supported right now. Apart from the limited 8K streaming support, the latest YouTube for Android TV update brings another noteworthy change - Cast Connect support. Cast Connect will let users control caste media on their Android TV with the TV's remote control instead of controlling it with the device that's casting the media.  Interestingly, YouTube's changelog had initially featured support for AV1 HDR playback but was later omitted to include the Cast Connect support. Instead, it includes AV1 HDR playback support, but Google seems to have removed that from the updated changelog, the report said. Latest technology reviews, news and more

In 2016, an archivist from Wisconsin digging through old newspapers came across an article in the Stevens Point Daily Journal from the 1930s, identifying a location where a man's remains had been found as a Native American burial ground.  The archivist posted the information to a Facebook group devoted to old and ancient artifacts that have been found across the state called Wisconsin Archeological Artifacts. The group's founder Ryan Howell, an archeologist himself, saw the post and passed the information along to a professor at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The result was the rediscovery of a long-forgotten burial site, an unexpected find that soon took on a life of its own, Howell said. Soon after, historians and Native Americans formed a committee to develop plans for a monument to memorialize the dead.  "That was all from that page — just people connecting over the internet and stories getting passed down...from an amateur archivist to an archeologist to another archeologist to a Native American. And now it's leading to the protection and preservation of a burial ground," Howell said. That sort of response is an example of how the group has evolved into a community devoted to education and awareness of the land's historic people and artifacts since it first launched in 2014. Howell decided…

In return, Pannu asked to join the Khalistan Movement. He is trying to buy votes for the ‘referendum’ his organization has announced to free Punjab from India and form Khalistan, a nation for Sikhs. Khalistani forces are getting a lot of support from Pakistan. In the video, Pannu said, “Sikhs For Justice has announced $1…

Taz Alam, who went to the troubled Willows High School in Tremorfa, found fame by baring her soul online about how she feels, writing spoken word poetry about such sensitive subjects as mental health in a bid to help others who might be going through similar hard times. In the past few years her uploaded videos have been viewed more than 20 million times, while hundreds of thousands regularly read her raw and honest poems such as Dear Bully and It's Okay not to be Okay. It's a long way from the days when, a self-confessed "uncool, nerdy kid", she says she was made to feel like "the lowest of the low." And that journey is to be marked in a new YouTube film which sees her revisit her old school in the…
