Vimeo users probably believe they are the right people to determine what type of account they need. Vimeo disagrees and has begun switching some users to a new, significantly more expensive subscription tier at its own discretion. As is increasingly the case with subscriptions these days, Vimeo’s offerings aren’t all that clear-cut. There are Starter, Standard, and Advanced offerings for “Individuals,” each with reasonably straightforward pricing and features. But then there’s “Enterprise,” which doesn’t have a price at all and requires customers to talk to Vimeo directly to settle on a price. A third tier, “Studio,” is rolling out now for $400 a month. It’s not directly available for purchase, though. This new Studio subscription came to PetaPixel‘s attention because of a discussion on Threads, the origin of which has since been deleted for factual inaccuracies, about a huge Vimeo price hike. While some details weren’t quite correct, the basic complaint was: Vimeo determined the user was no longer eligible for an individual plan and needed to be moved to the new, much pricier Studio tier. PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — WHL games will stream for free on YouTube during 2026-27 season. Portland Winterhawks fans will have a new way to watch their favorite team this season. The WHL announced Wednesday that live streams of regular-season games will move to YouTube for the 2026-27 season on an interim basis. The decision comes amid uncertainty surrounding Victory+, which had served as the WHL’s exclusive livestreaming partner since March 2025. WHL Commissioner Dan Near said the move is designed to ensure fans have easy access to games when the new season begins Friday, Sept. 18. “The WHL’s audience is growing rapidly,” Near said. “We continue to believe that providing easy access to games is of critical value and importance as we look to expand our reach and deliver WHL excitement to our fans.” The Portland Winterhawks will begin the 2026-27 regular season on the road when they visit the Everett Silvertips. The messaging group was set up by engineers before the wall of water, mud and rock crashed down the Trishuli valley in Nepal on August 26. It has since become a valuable tool alongside helicopters and heavy machinery in the race to find survivors. The authorities hope some of the about 900 people reported missing from six hydropower plants - at least three of which were under construction - may have escaped the deluge because they worked in or fled into the tunnels. Dylan Williams, 27, is charged with coercion and enticement, transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct, according to a federal criminal complaint filed Aug. 28 in U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Investigators allege Williams began communicating with the teenager through Snapchat in June, knew she was 15 and later drove from Delaware to Pennsylvania to pick her up. Authorities found the girl at Williams’ Camden-area residence Aug. 20 after her parents reported her missing, according to the complaint.
