A former teacher and director at a Nevada Christian school has been arrested and charged with felony lewdness after she allegedly engaged in a four-year sexual relationship with a female student.Kaitlin Glover, 34, was a teacher and the Athletics and Student Leadership Director at Mountain View Christian School when she began reaching out to a student via Snapchat in December 2017. As reported by Law&Crime, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department said that Glover, who went by "MissG-lover" on Snapchat, began "talking about previous relationships and sex acts" with the student."(The victim) told Glover that she had never done anything sexual with anyone, and Glover had replied that she would teach her how to masturbate when she turned 18," court documents stated. "Shortly after, (the victim) states that Glover began sending her nude photos through Snapchat."During their relationship, police found that the two had called each other hundreds of times throughout the alleged relationship. San Francisco: Popular instant messaging app Snapchat is now allowing users to enable dark mode without a Snapchat+ subscription, on Android. On Tuesday, Android expert Mishaal Rahman shared the information on X. "Users are reporting that they can now enable dark mode in Snapchat without a Snapchat+ subscription!," he said. "I thought it was dumb for Snapchat to lock dark mode behind a paywall, so I'm glad to see they've changed their minds!" In a separate post, Rahman mentioned that the dark mode's support page still mentions that only paid subscribers can access the mode on Android. East Baton Rouge deputies have arrested a Zachary man on child pornography counts after Snapchat, a social media app, tipped investigators off that a user uploaded explicit videos of young girls to an account. Marcus Delgado Williams, 34, was taken into custody on two counts of pornography involving juveniles, the department said. According to an affidavit, detectives with the state's Cyber Crimes Unit received a tip from Snapchat through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that two sexually explicit videos of girls under the age of 13 had been uploaded June 11. A subpoena return from internet provider Cox Communications showed that the IP address of the account used to upload the videos could be traced to Williams' home address in Zachary, the affidavit says. Using an online law enforcement database, detectives learned Williams had a "lengthy criminal record for a variety of sexual offenses," most of which involved children under the age of 13, the document continues.   The affidavit says detectives then issued a search warrant to Snapchat, which revealed the account's display name as Raajah Rude. TikTok closely followed with 60%. In contrast, primary school students preferred YouTube, with 59% stating they used it four or more times, followed by TikTok at 29%.These insights come from CensusAtSchool TataurangaKiTeKura, a non-profit online educational project that brings statistics to life in English and Māori-medium classrooms. Supervised by teachers, students anonymously answer 34 questions in English or te reo Māori. A local man convicted and sentenced to life in prison last month in Hot Spring County on rape and stalking charges was arrested on a felony warrant Wednesday for the alleged rape of a 13-year-old Hot Springs girl last year. Eric David Overton, 27, who lists a Parsons Street address, was taken into custody around 12:30 p.m. on one count of rape, punishable by up to life in prison, and remained in custody Friday on zero bond. Overton was set to appear Friday in Garland County District Court. According to court records, he was convicted on July 13 following a jury trial in Hot Spring County on felony charges of rape and internet stalking of a child and sentenced on July 18 to the maximum of life in prison on each count. According to the probable cause affidavit on the local charge, on April 11, 2022, the Garland County Sheriff's Office received a report regarding the rape of a 13-year-old girl by a person known to her as "David." The victim was interviewed that same day at the Cooper Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center with the interview observed by Arkansas State Police Investigator Heidi Bernard.
