Videos of sex with a minor were shared on Snapchat, with the victim only 13 years old at the time of the assault.  Anthony Jacob Dean Collins, age 23, was sentenced last month after pleading guilty to sexual assault. The ruling was made in Fort St John Supreme Court on July 20.   Collins has been in custody since April 25, 2023, and was given a credit of 129 days against a sentence of 36 months incarceration, leaving 966 days to serve.  A DNA sample order was also made, and Collins will be registered as a sex offender for the next 20 years in compliance with the Sex Offender Information Registration Act. An order was also made that Collins have no contact with the victim for the duration of his sentence, directly or indirectly.  An agreed statement of facts was provided to the court, noting the assault occurred on November 7, 2020 at a house party. Collins was only 20 at the time, and met the 13-year-old victim through Snapchat before travelling to Fort St. John to meet in person.  It’s noted that Collins told the victim to lie about their age, asking them to pretend to be 16. Two thieves linked themselves to a stolen car after posting a photo of the theft on social media for "clout".Sebastian Everett, 22, appeared at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on Thursday to plead guilty to a charge of motor vehicle theft after an incident on May 5. The court heard Everett and another associate had been linked to the theft of a Mazda sedan from a Greenhalghs Road property on the morning of May 5. About 5am on the morning of the theft, police attempted to pull the stolen car over on Sutton Street, Delacombe however the stolen car accelerated onto the wrong side of the road to get away.The stolen Mazda was later found dumped in Delacombe. A former teacher and director at a Nevada Christian school has been arrested and charged with felony lewdness after she allegedly engaged in a four-year sexual relationship with a female student.Kaitlin Glover, 34, was a teacher and the Athletics and Student Leadership Director at Mountain View Christian School when she began reaching out to a student via Snapchat in December 2017. As reported by Law&Crime, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department said that Glover, who went by "MissG-lover" on Snapchat, began "talking about previous relationships and sex acts" with the student."(The victim) told Glover that she had never done anything sexual with anyone, and Glover had replied that she would teach her how to masturbate when she turned 18," court documents stated.
