Snap announced today that it is rolling out an integration with the link-in-bio tool Linktree to let people show off their work and other profiles on Snapchat. The social network is late to allow links in the profiles of creators. Until now, it only allowed brands and Snap Stars — the biggest creators who are part of a special program — to include links. Originally announced in April, the partnership will now allow anyone with a public profile to include links to their Linktree profile. Snap allows any user over 18 to create a public profile. This allows users to include any other URL as well. However, Linktree is giving Snapchat profiles better visibility on its service. The link-in-bio tool will also let creators show off their Snapchat profile on their Linktree page with a social icon and a button that says “Add me on Snapchat” (or any other customized phrase). Six teenagers were rushed to hospital after buying vapes on Snapchat. A warning has been issued following the incident which saw the youngsters suffer seizures, loss of consciousness and vomiting. All of the teens were admitted to hospital in Australia within the same nine-day period. It comes as some vapes have been found to contain a dangerous cocktail of chemicals - including ingredients found in weed killer and nail polish remover. New South Wales Health said an analysis of the vapes revealed they contained nicotine - and said it was "increasingly concerned" about the rise of vaping. An additional charge of child trafficking to engage in sexual conduct, a first-degree felony, was later added, according to officials.
