Rebuked by parents, teen leaves with Snapchat friend
A 16-year-old girl who had allegedly left her home on Thursday morning after being scolded by her parents was traced to Mount Abu by Gujarat University cops. She had left with a person whom had befriended her on Snapchat, a messaging app. She had been in touch with the person for the past five months. According to police, the Class 10 student was active on messaging application Snapchat and around five months back came in touch with Maninagar resident Yash Barot (23) who studies in a city-based college. They frequently chatted with each other. A police personnel associated with the case told Mirror that the girl took a scolding by her parents to heart and left the house. During this time while chatting with Yash he told her that he was taking a trip to Mt Abu by car with three of his friends. The girl evinced an interest in joining Yash and his friends on the trip.
