A pervert who posted footage he took of a sexual encounter with two females has been jailed. Thomas Purviss loaded the camera footage onto Snapchat with a tagline of “free porn”, much to the horror of the victims. The 33-year-old appeared at Leeds Crown Court where he admitted two counts of sharing intimate films for sexual gratification. Purviss had been out drinking in June last year, and invited two females back to his home. Purviss uploaded videos of sex acts with two females to Snapchat. | WYP / PA While they engaged in sexual activity with Purviss, he filmed them, despite them telling him to stop and trying to grab his phone. He reassured them he would not disclose the footage, but later the next day the victims began to receive messages from friends telling them eight clips had been uploaded to Snapchat. Purviss had written: “Free porn for whoever is on my Snapchat.” He later agreed to take the them down and asked the victims not to contact the police. GRAND FORKS, N.D. –  A Grand Forks man faces two felony charges after he allegedly was caught promoting or directing an obscene performance of a minor and luring a minor. Malaun Nelson was charged Friday in Grand Forks County District Court on two felony counts – Use of a Minor in a Sexual Performance, a Class A Felony, and Luring Minors by Computer or Other Electronic Means, a Class B Felony. According to court documents obtained by Flag Family News, Nelson was a paraprofessional with Grand Forks Public Schools when he began communicating with minor students through the social media app Snapchat. A declaration of probable cause said Nelson told a 13-year-old boy, through Snapchat, that ‘he sends people money for content on Snapchat.’ Nelson sent the child a chart with a description of the type of content and payment he would provide to the boy, which included nudity and sexually explicit material that Nelson said was ‘r/x rated.’ The boy provided authorities with a photo sent by Nelson through Snapchat of a sex toy described as a pocket pussy. On December 10, Australia enacted legislation banning children aged 16 and under from accessing social media platforms. The decision has drawn international attention as governments grapple with the impact of digital spaces on young people. Under the Australian ban, platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, Kick, Reddit, Twitch and X (formally Twitter), have agreed to comply, using age verification technology to identify under-16 users and suspend their accounts. Other countries exploring similar measures include France, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Italy, Malaysia, Denmark, Pakistan and South Korea.
