Taylor Swift's re-recorded 'Fearless' album won't be up for Grammy consideration
Taylor Swift won’t be filling a blank space on her trophy case with any Grammys for her re-recorded “Fearless” album. The singer decided not to submit “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” which she released in April, for contention at the Grammy Awards or the Country Music Association Awards, Billboard reported. “After careful consideration, Taylor Swift will not be submitting Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in any category at this year’s upcoming Grammy and CMA Awards,” a representative for Republic Records told Billboard in a statement. “Fearless has already won four Grammys including album of the year, as well as the CMA Award for album of the year in 2009/2010 and remains the most awarded country album of all time.” Swift is re-recording her first six albums after talent executive Scooter Braun acquired the rights to much of the singer’s musical catalog in 2019.
