Days later, Facebook (now officially rebranded as Meta) missed revenue expectations and offered modest projections for its fourth-quarter performance “in light of continued headwinds from Apple’s iOS 14 changes.” Released in April, Apple’s privacy change requires apps to receive user permission to track their behavior across other apps and websites. If the user opts out, the company can no longer track customers’ data within their own app using Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers system. The collision happened around 6:46 a.m. Nov. 1 on Range Road 145 and Township Road 100 in the Municipal District of Taber. The pick-up truck was heading westbound on Township Road 100 when it entered the intersection at Range Road 145, colliding with the passenger side of a semi-tractor that was travelling northbound, police say. The Taber man driving the semi-tractor was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the pick-up truck from County of 40 Mile was transported by EMS to a local area hospital in critical but stable condition, police say. “All possible contributing factors relating to this collision are being considered,” Taber RCMP said in a press release.
