Soaps News The 2025-26 TV Season’s Biggest Winner Just Knocked a Fan Favorite Off Its Throne — What Was Everyone Watching This Year? Credit: CBS, Disney, CBS The 2025-2026 television season is officially in the books, which means it’s time for a scorecard check-in to see what everyone was actually watching this year — the numbers don’t lie! Sure, steaming continues to dominate the conversation, but here’s the twist: broadcast TV isn’t quite ready to ride off into the sunset. In fact, some of these ratings suggest traditional television is showing more life than critics expected. So who came out on top in the broadcast television empire, according to Nielsen live-plus-35-day multiplatform figures? Well, the results may surprise you. While Fox didn’t find themselves with a Top 10 show, NBC eked out a win with a series from the One Chicago universe: Chicago Fire was in 10th place. ABC fared better with three scripted shows: Will Trent in eighth place, The Rookie in sixth place, and the delightful High Potential with star Kaitlin Olson the third spot. So, CBS is crowning itself the winner after cementing six out of the Top 10 spots this year. NCIS was in the ninth position

Madonna Debuts New York’s New Secret Venue The Square: Inside Look – Billboard

Trending on Billboard The crowd in Times Square at 5 p.m. on Thursday (June 3) appeared normal. Tourists posed with giant Labubus and Transformers, and those pushing past to get from A to B faced no more difficulty than usual. But at 6:27 p.m., two secret doors inside a billboard three stories above Broadway opened up and the Queen of Pop emerged. For the next 15 minutes, Madonna took to the small stage overlooking the street to perform her two new singles from her new album Confessions II, as well as favorites from Confessions, as thousands of adoring fans looked on from the street below. Related Behind the scenes, the moment took years of careful planning. Madonna’s performance, which captured attention globally and served as a marketing ploy in partnership with Grindr to celebrate Pride Month and help support her current album campaign for Confessions II, was tied to the official launch of new venue The Square. And its location, directly on Broadway and 47th Street in the heart of Times Square, makes it one of the more sensational, and secretive, venues in the city. “We thought she was the right person to talk across multiple generations of fans,” says Jeff Marks

Well Go USA Entertainment is about to unleash the martial arts epic Blades of the Guradians: Wind Rises in the Desert. Legendary action auteur Yuen Woo-ping—the visionary mastermind who choreographed the gravity-defying physics of The Matrix, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Kill Bill, and Kung Fu Hustle—has assembled the ultimate martial arts Avengers for a massive new wuxia epic. The Desert Just Got Bloodier Based on the acclaimed manhua, the narrative framework is a lean, mean, 126-minute excuse for elite-tier blade combat. The Hero: Dao Ma (Wu Jing), a ruthless bounty hunter with a phenomenal chip on his shoulder. He is sent on an escort mission to transport the empire’s most dangerous outlaw, Zhi Shi Lang. However, word gets out. However, every rival bounty hunter, corrupt official, and bloodthirsty warrior decides to cash in on the bounty. This triggers a relentless, desert-spanning pursuit. Because this is a Yuen Woo-ping joint, the film carries a hard R rating for strong bloody violence throughout. Translation: Expect less poetic gliding through bamboo forests and a lot more bone-crunching, steel-on-steel decapitations. A Mount Rushmore of Action Stars To call this a “dream cast” is a massive understatement. Woo-ping has managed to capture four distinct generations

Yesterday, Council passed the Infill Overlay District, also known as the Downtown Overlay District (DOD), aligning our downtown zoning with the 2021 Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) Study and the 2022 Comprehensive Plan. This creates greater clarity for residents, local businesses, property owners, and developers regarding the future vision for downtown Austell. Here are some highlights of the new ordinance: • In the Central Downtown area, mixed-use buildings (retail, restaurants, and offices on the ground floor with residential units above) may now be developed up to five stories in height. • In the Downtown Transition area, buildings may be developed up to three stories. • New housing options, including ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), cottage courts, duplexes, triplexes, quadplexes, live/work units and condominiums, now have a clear path forward in downtown. • Setbacks have been significantly reduced, allowing buildings to be located closer together, creating a more walkable environment and helping bring Austell back to its historic, pedestrian-friendly roots.
