If I Had Legs I’d Kick You is the panic-inducing depiction of motherhood that Nightbitch tried to be. Granted, there are no dogs here, although there is a hamster, not to mention a powerhouse performance from Rose Byrne. Byrne’s filmography is anything but thin in a career spanning film, television, comedy, and drama. She can pretty much do it all, yet Byrne has been somewhat underrated ever since her breakthrough work on Damages almost two decades ago. She just might kick that underappreciated status with a Best Actress Oscar nomination, if there’s any justice. Of course, there’s rarely justice for long-suffering mothers. Byrne plays Linda, a working mom who feels distant from her young daughter (Delaney Quinn). This is conveyed in more ways than one, as we never see the daughter’s face, excluding one moment. The daughter is a constant presence, whining to her mother in a high-pitched voice. From the opening shot, though, the camera is almost always fixated on Linda’s distressed face. A car was deliberately set on fire at 1:30am on Pilley Green, Pilley, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 2am. Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 2am on Bradstone Road, East Herringthorpe, Rotherham. The crew came away at 2:50am. Firefighters from Edlington and Doncaster stations attended a fire on the A1M between J35 and J36, northbound at 3:35pm. A car and caravan were involved. The fire is believed to have started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 4:55pm. Three fire crews from Aston, Maltby and Rotherham stations were called to a flat fire at 5:05am on Plantation Avenue, Dinnington, Rotherham. There were no reports of any casualties. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 6:25am.

The news comes via the Evil Dead Facebook page and the director’s Instagram in the form of a brief, but brutal clip. The message says, “That’s a wrap!” Steering the ship is Sébastien Vaniček, who directed and co-wrote the script with Florent Bernard. Genre aficionados might already be buzzing about Vaniček’s name. He recently made a significant splash on the festival circuit with his debut horror feature, Vermin. It garnered praise for its innovative scares and atmosphere. This injection of new directorial blood promises a potentially fresh and terrifying take on the Evil Dead  formula. “Wednesday” actor Hunter Doohan stars in this new chapter of demonic mayhem. The highly anticipated folk horror feature Turn Back —which made history as the most funded narrative film in UK crowdfunding history (raising over £470,000 from almost 6,000 supporters)—has officially begun production. Shooting is now underway in Surrey, England, on the groundbreaking film. Turn Back is a reverse-narrative thriller inspired by the chilling English legend of Black Shuck, blending psychological terror with deep folk tradition. Turn Back is set to deliver a cinematic experience audiences haven’t seen before. The film follows Paul, an American artist who returns to his ancestral village in Norfolk. He soon finds himself ensnared by a sinister local cult and the haunting presence of the Black Shuck legend. As the story unfolds backwards in time, Paul’s grip on reality is aggressively tested. The New York-based Zar worked for Theo Sedlmayr & Associates. “We’re received an outpouring of messages from people in our industry sharing their thoughts about Sebastian,” Sedlmayr told Billboard. I like to believe that’s because he was a kindred spirit to many, passionate about supporting creators of music in all its forms. On Wednesday, 15 October 2025, SpecialEurasia held a webinar to present the book Geopolitics of Central Asia (Geopolitica dell’Asia centrale in Italian), a collective volume derived from the organisation’s long-term research project on the region. The publication gathers the contributions of seven authors, each addressing distinct but interrelated aspects of Central Asia’s developing geopolitical landscape. Four of the contributors – Giuliano Bifolchi, Silvia Boltuc, Stefano Vernole, and Riccardo Rossi – participated in the event, offering their analyses and insights into the major themes explored in the volume. Overview and Key Themes Giuliano Bifolchi introduced the book (currently published only in Italian), emphasising its purpose to delineate the geopolitical imperatives and structural constraints shaping Central Asia. He underscored the persistent difficulties encountered by the Central Asian republics, particularly their landlocked status and restricted access to international markets. These factors compel the states of the region to adopt proactive foreign policies to secure trade corridors and alternative routes for exports and imports. Bifolchi also underlined the strategic importance of maritime connectivity through external partners such as Iran and Pakistan, despite sanctions and instability, as well as potential linkages through India via the International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC). Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 2:45am. Firefighters from Central and Tankersley stations attended a premise fire at 6:10am on Browning Close, Sheffield. The accidental fire involved the cooker. Crews came away at 6:55am.
