Edinburgh Fringe: Into The Woods – Brig Newspaper

Just saw Into the Woods and honestly, what a show it was. The show was very well produced from beginning to end. The costuming was fantastic and the props used, made us feel like we were in the woods. The slightly dark and confusing feel was definitely brought to life. The two standouts for me were definitely the actresses that played Cinderella and the Witch. Both were truly captivating on stage I was in awe. Their powerful voices and impressive acting completely captured my attention. I was also fully mesmerised by how confidently they brought their characters to life. I could tell they loved playing who they were portraying. The casting team clearly choose performers who could make these roles their own. I would say the actress that played the Witch was so good that Meryl Streep would be proud. The rest of the cast were just as talented. Amazing and powerful voices and great acting from all the cast. The whole cast has tremendous energy and stage presence while on stage. Even the side characters were eye-catching. Personally one of the best musical productions I’ve seen. Super happy that the first show I saw this year at the Edinburgh Fringe be

Ella Langley Co-Writer JoyBeth Taylor Talks ‘Choosin’ Texas’ – Billboard

Trending on Billboard Aspiring Nashville artists and songwriters are often met with some variation of the same advice: “Must be present to win.” It means that showing up consistently could only accelerate their chances of building a long-lasting, hit-filled career. That adage was key to songwriter JoyBeth Taylor’s newest Billboard Country Airplay No. 1, the Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore.”  Related “Ella and Morgan had been trying to write a duet,” she shares. “It was two weeks after my son was born and I got a call about 7:30 at night. Ella asked, ‘Can you come to the studio?’ My baby had just been born and I was going through it and my husband was like, ‘You need to go write a song.’ So I showed up and had the ‘I can’t love you anymore’ part already and we just finished it out. We weren’t sure where it was going to land or what was going to happen after that, but it ended up being perfect. I’m so grateful that I showed up that day.” Taylor currently ranks at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Songwriters chart and at

Checking out the new Oakland and Intercept Frames by GUNNAR – HorrorFuel.com

Summer may be slowly coming to an end, but summer styles are forever! Our friends at GUNNAR have introduced two new frames that are a love letter to the season! For those not familiar with our friends at Gunnar, they specialize in making glasses that have anti-blue light tech. Screens give off blue light that’s invisible to the eyes but can cause strain and fatigue for them. Gunnar’s glasses help block this light to allow those who look at screens all day to work in comfort. Gunnar’s glasses are used by pro e-sport players, gamers, the military, and even animators at DreamWorks. We’ve seen the Oakland Frames before, but now we’re seeing them in a more vibrant color, Crystal Dusk. These stylish frames now come with the option to look reminiscent of a violet sky after the sun sets at the beach. The Intercept frames have been around for a while as well, and have been given the summer glow-up with the new Crystal Cobalt frames. This rich blue color reflects the blue skies of summer, that reminds you of how blue it looks as you sit by the pool or on the beach. Both frames are in a light

The Infamous Tumblr Subculture Obsessed With Peter Pan: The ‘Peter Pandom’ Explained

There have been plenty of fandoms on Tumblr, but few were quite as specifically devoted to one fictional character (and the people paid to play him) as the "Peter Pandom." Emerging during the early 2010s, Peter Pandom was a Peter Pan-focused subculture that went well beyond the original book or Disney's animated film. Much of the community's attention centered on live-action portrayals of Peter Pan at Disney parks, particularly the face characters who could interact directly with guests. Fans collected photos, made edits, wrote fan fiction, and maintained dedicated blogs documenting their favorite performers. For some fans, however, the interest went considerably further than appreciating a Disney character. Certain members became intensely invested in the personal lives of the actors portraying Peter Pan, with reports of fans following performers outside the parks and attempting to track their lives away from their characters. The resulting controversy eventually helped turn Peter Pandom into a memorable piece of early Tumblr fandom history. So, where did Peter Pandom come from, who was "Spieling Peter," and how did a fandom about Disney's Peter Pan performers become part of Tumblr lore? Let's find out. Where Does 'Peter Pandom' Come From? Peter Pandom emerged on Tumblr during

Georgia gas prices fall 11 cents as statewide average drops to $3.76 a gallon

Georgia gas prices continued to fall this week, giving drivers some relief at the pump as the statewide average dropped to $3.76 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. The average price for a gallon of unleaded in Cobb County this morning was just under $3.84, about eight cents more than the statewide average. EV charging rates EV charging rates this morning were hovering around 42 cents per kilowatt hour at commercial DC fast charging stations, both nationally and in Georgia.
