Tate McRae’s Merch Partner Sues to Stop Knockoff Sellers at Miss Possessive Tour

The lawsuit says law enforcement should get involved and seize phony merch sold outside the pop star's U.S. concerts. Tate McRae performs live on stage at Accor Arena during her Miss Possessive World Tour on May 27, 2025 in Paris, France. Kristy Sparow/Getty Images Tate McRae’s official merch supplier says in a new lawsuit that a law enforcement response is necessary to stop so-called “bootleggers” from selling knockoff t-shirts, hats and other infringing goods during the U.S. leg of the pop star’s Miss Possessive arena tour. Merch Traffic is the exclusive merch retailer for the U.S. leg of McRae’s global Miss Possessive tour, which began Aug. 13 and runs through Nov. 8. ‘Flow’ Writer on Latvia, Follow-up ‘Limbo,’ ‘I Love You, Lex Fridman!’ – The Hollywood Reporter

Everyone loves the surprise Latvian best animated feature Oscar winner Flow . The dialogue-free movie about a solitary cat’s emotional journey has become a calling card for the country and its director and producer Gints Zilbalodis. But Matīss Kaža, his writing and production partner on Flow, is not resting on such laurels. The 29-year-old recently traveled to the 78th edition of the Locarno Film Festival for a quick visit to its Locarno Pro industry strand to present what his Dream Well Studio and his Trickster Pictures have coming up, including the new feature animation from Zilbalodis, called Limbo, as well I Love You, Lex Fridman!, which he is directing himself together with actress and co-director Iveta Pole. After that, THR caught up with Kaža to hear about some of the many projects he is currently juggling, the state of the Latvian film industry, and the soft power of Flow. Tell me a bit about your two companies and how busy they are right now. I work at two different studios, which are in the same building. We have Dream Well Studio, which is the animation studio, which is, of course, known for Flow. It really only does Gints Zilbalodis films

The Roses Review | Flickreel

Danny DeVito’s The War of the Roses remains one of the most twisted anti-romances ever put to film. If you’re going to adapt Warren Adler’s source material again, Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman are well-suited to play a couple who thrive on finishing each other’s insults. Tony McNamara (Poor Things, The Favourite) also has a knack for savage dialogue, which lends itself to the premise. Yet, Jay Roach isn’t the best choice to direct The Roses. Roach has made some classic comedies like Meet the Parents and the Austin Powers trilogy. He’s even demonstrated his dramatic range with Recount, Game Change, and Bombshell, among others. When we think of dark comedy, though, Roach doesn’t have DeVito’s edge. That said, The Roses isn’t trying to be DeVito’s film. In an era of so many shot-for-shot, nostalgia-bait remakes, The Roses refreshing tries to stand on its own. For the most part, it works, even if this isn’t in the same league as its predecessor. Like Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, Cumberbatch and Colman are a convincing couple in more ways than one. We buy that these two would fall in love, but we also believe that they would come to loathe each

After Devastating Plane Crash, Pierce the Veil Push Through Crisis – Billboard

“The way my wife and I keep describing this year — it’s just the highest highs and the lowest lows,” says Vic Fuentes, frontman for San Diego post-hardcore group Pierce the Veil. After two decades of grinding road work and kinetic live shows, Fuentes’ band found themselves headlining New York City’s Madison Square Garden, a major milestone for a group that’s never cut a straightforward path through the touring business. It was one of those high highs, Fuentes explained, which was followed by a very low low — Fuente’s agent and longtime friend, Sound Talent Group’s Dave Shapiro, passed away in a plane crash flying back to San Diego after attending the MSG show. Onboard with Shapiro were another of Fuentes’ longtime friends, Dominic Damian, as well as musician Daniel Williams, Sound Talent Group employees Emma Huke and Kendall Fortner and photographer Celina Kenyon, who all also died in the crash. Related The news of Shapiro’s death came as Pierce the Veil were only four shows into a 30-date North American run. Shapiro had been the band’s agent for 20 years, instrumental in their rise from a Warped Tour small stages to their current arena run. Trending on Billboard “We
