Sean 'Diddy' Combs speaks onstage during the 2022 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 15, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Amy Sussman/Getty Images The federal sex-trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is winding to a close. Jurors have seen all the evidence, and a verdict could come soon now that the disgraced music mogul has officially decided not to take the stand in his own defense. Combs has been on trial for over a month on the bombshell charges that he used violence, money and blackmail to force women to participate in drug-fueled sex shows called “freak-offs.” The rapper, who maintains his innocence, could face a potential life sentence if convicted on all counts. Prosecutors rested on Tuesday (June 24) after a Homeland Security agent finished testifying, the New York Times reports. The government has built its case with videos, text messages and dozens of witnesses – most crucially, singer Cassie Ventura and an anonymous women known as “Jane,” both ex-girlfriends of Combs who testified that they were coerced into participating

It's not the first time content like this has been blocked by the platform. In September, influencer Liv Schmidt, who built her platform on the outward pursuit of thinness, growing a following of 670,000, was banned. “Basic fit because the accessory is being blonde & skinny,” she captioned one outfit video on Instagram, where she now has over 320,000 followers. “Please don’t ask me how I’m so skinny if you’re not ready for the answers,” she wrote over another. #SkinnyTok’s content is eerily similar to the thinspo – or, inspiration on how to be skinnier – that dominated social media platforms like Tumblr in the 2010s. Though Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest banned #thinspo in 2012, it didn’t stop these communities from populating the sites. Even with the ban of #SkinnyTok, removing harmful content may be an uphill battle. Content creators like Schmidt have paved the way for the “skinny influencer,” and mental health experts have cautioned that this represents a larger shift in how Americans are discussing thinness. “We're almost seeing a return to the outward profession of the desire

Kovac says Kwatinetz, who launched Limp

It doesn’t have to be this way. With Tixel’s entry to the market there is now a safe and fair place for fans in the

Affected users report a wide range of content being incorrectly marked, from harmless cat GIFs to fandom posts, artwork, and even images as innocuous as pictures of hands. The underlying cause remains uncertain, though speculation points toward AI-based automation playing a role in these mistakes. This is not an isolated incident. Other platforms have experienced comparable problems recently. Pinterest admitted to an internal error causing mass bans, while Instagram has also faced user complaints over unexplained account restrictions. Though users suspect AI moderation errors, some companies deny such involvement. Ongoing Experimentation with Mature Content Filtering On Tumblr, the issue coincides with an update to the Android app, where the company has been trialing new moderation layers on its Content Labels system. According to a spokesperson, the experiments are ongoing and adjustments will be made based on user feedback before wider implementation. The company expressed its commitment to creating a safe platform that respects diverse user interests and
