On January 10, Disguised Toast received a DMCA strike for watching Death Note. He was on the final episode of the popular anime when he was suspended, making for quite the cliffhanger. Pokimane’s ban is allegedly the result of a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) strike due to her streaming Avatar: The Last Airbender, a Nickelodeon TV show (thanks, Kotaku). Shortly after the live broadcast was interrupted, social media was on fire with reports that the livestreaming superstar was no longer on the platform. It’s her first-ever ban on Twitch too.
