The public’s growing use of emojis, emoticons, emotes, memes, GIFs and other non-verbal ways to communicate on social media platforms has, in recent years, increasingly confounded the efforts of data scientists to understand the global sociological landscape; at least, to the extent that worldwide sociological trends can be discerned from public discourse.Though Natural Language Processing (NLP) has become a powerful tool in sentiment analysis over the last decade, the sector has difficulty not only in keeping up with an ever-evolving lexicon of slang and linguistic shortcuts across multiple languages, but also in attempting to decode the meaning of image-based posts on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.Since the limited number of highly populous social media platforms are the only truly hyperscale resource for this kind of research, it’s essential for the AI sector to at least attempt to maintain pace with it.In July, a paper from Taiwan offered a new method to categorize user sentiment based on ‘reaction GIFs’ posted to social media threads (see image below), using a database of 30,000 tweets to develop a way to predict reactions to a post. It has become pretty commonplace in the streaming world for content creators to leave behind their original platform and sign a lucrative deal elsewhere. Amid some of the wild switches between Twitch and Mixer, as well as Twitch and YouTube, Disguised Toast’s departure to Facebook Gaming marked the first major move between the two. Though, he revealed that Twitch made him a pretty lowball offer at the time which made the switch easier. Despite moving to Facebook, Toast retained the ability to stream on Twitch but didn’t have any partner benefits. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has explained why his decline on streaming platform Twitch does not bother him, explaining that he has “no intention” of being that guy anymore.  Few streamers have seen anything even comparable to the meteoric rise Ninja experienced in late 2017. Off the back of Fortnite’s similarly staggering explosion in popularity, the former Halo pro’s top-tier gameplay and fiery spirit endeared millions of fans to flock to his Twitch streams. He remains the most-followed streamer on the Amazon-owned streaming service, sitting at over 17 million followers. However, it hasn’t been all plain sailing for the 30-year-old. A move to Microsoft’s Mixer ended with the service collapsing, and his return to Twitch has never seen him regain his prior popularity. With over 500 cars to collect in Forza Horizon 5, completionists will have to spin a lot of wheels, and make a lot of money to collect them all. In addition, the roster will expand over the years, just like previous titles in the franchise have, and there are even some vehicles that can't be obtained from the Autoshow or getting lucky on a Wheelspin. This includes hidden cars found in the Mastery Trees of five specific vehicles in Forza Horizon 5. The good news is that it costs no additional money to unlock them, but it will cost Skill Points, and the time needed to rack them up. There are five cars to buy in Forza Horizon 5 that unlock other vehicles in their Car Mastery Skill Trees. G4 is again. The long-lasting TV channel made its official return to the air on November 16, each in a conventional cable tv format and on Twitch and YouTube. It’s a return to the airwaves for a channel that went offline in 2014 after a 12-year run on American cable TV. It was arguably at its top within the early 2000s as a primarily gaming-focused channel, with applications like Assault of the Present, X-Play, and American Ninja Warrior, in addition to on-air expertise that included Adam Sessler, Morgan Webb, and Olivia Munn. G4 had been teasing a return to the airwaves since July 2020, with Sessler slated to return alongside revivals of Assault of the Present and X-Play. Last week, the virtual Detroit Lions picked up their win in one of the most unpredictable outcomes of our 2021 Madden simulation series. We ran Madden 22 without even knowing that Ben Roethlisberger would be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list hours after we ran the simulation, and Detroit still came out victorious for the first time all season. Of course, what happened on Sunday wasn’t quite as triumphant. Detroit managed to come out of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers without a loss, but they couldn’t manage a getting into the win column, either. We’ll still call that a win by Madden 22 prediction standards. So what will they think of this week’s matchup between two beat up Lions and Cleveland Browns teams? Despite the fact that Twitch allows content such as hot tub streams, the community is calling hypocrisy over the recent banning of a user's emote. Although Twitch is the biggest video game broadcasting website on the internet, it does have its fair share of critics who have taken umbrage to the company's policies and actions in recent history. The streaming platform may have record billions of hours last month, but it's often the subject of controversy, particularly the "hate raid" scandal from a couple of months back. Now, it looks as though it's in hot water with the community once more, as a streamer has posted about having their custom emote banned by the site for allegedly being "too sexual." In a post to Twitter recently, Twitch streamer Meowriianne uploaded an image of one of her custom emotes, which shows a cartoon mushroom in a hot tub. Beneath this, another tweet features a screenshot from an email the user received from the site saying that the emote had been banned due to a breach of the terms of services, which disallows images related to "sexual content or nudity." Genshin Impact miHoYo A while back, Genshin Impact ran a promotion where they were offering KFC-themed wings, an in-game item based on the Colonel’s signature white and red, for a promotion for the game in China. Now, those special edition wings are making their way over to the West, but players are not exactly pleased about how they’re supposed to unlock them. The KFC wind glider, or the “Wings of Feasting,” are being tied into a Genshin Impact Twitch promotion that has nothing to do with KFC anymore. But it costs money to unlock them, as you have to buy Tier 1 Twitch subs for a specific list of participating streamers. Here are the official rules for this: 1. All Travelers need to log into their Twitch account during the event (starting November 25) 2.
