Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau's dislike for each other spilling into the public forum has been one of the most fun things to happen in golf in years. The now-infamous video of Koepka rolling his eyes out the back of his head while DeChambeau walked by escalated their interpersonal conflict to silly levels. Most recently, Koepka trash-talked DeChambeau about The Match (which Koepka wasn't even involved in) and DeChambeau got fans kicked out of a tournament for calling him "Brooksy."Since it is the most interesting off-the-course story in the game, Koepka was asked about it once again on Tuesday as he and other tour members arrived at Royal St. George's for this weekend's The Open Championship. He has been more than willing to answer questions about his dispute with his fellow golfer, and gave viewers an inside look into exactly how this feud got to where it is. They had apparently agreed to not mention the other, but then DeChambeau went on Twitch and poked fun at Koepka for appearing in ESPN's Body Issue. Fnatic, the London-based global esports organisation, is championing diversity among its content creators after reporting a 50/50 gender split in its grassroots programme, Fnatic Network.  This means that of the 52 streamers signed up to this programme – which celebrates its first full year of operation today – 26 are male and 26 are female. Fnatic says this is an industry first. Fnatic Network is a content creator academy that aims to scout and engage with top streamers and take them through a three-tiered programme, which can ultimately lead them to a contract with Fnatic or another org. Fnatic also said that participants have seen an average growth of 56% in their stream’s concurrent users, and an average increase of 150% in their Twitch following since the programme’s inception. For example, Moonryde, who is getting his own £30,000 Moonryde Invitational CoD Warzone tournament with Fnatic, went from 800 viewers on his stream to an average 6,000, with a peak of 82,000 on one of his Warzone streams. “Our ambitions for the esports and gaming industry is to see a more diverse and inclusive audience on and off the screen. Twitch streamer AyeHunni was elated after she was raided while streaming Warzone, but the situation turned sour after she passed on the raid to her friend, prompting the original raider to angrily call on his fans to block her. ‘Raiding’ can create some of the most communal moments on Twitch. The premise is simple: a streamer with a larger viewerbase sends their viewers to another streamer’s channel, boosting their profile. Over the years, raiding has Twitch’s most wholesome moments, with chess stars Alexandra and Andrea Botez reducing a small streamer to tears when they raided him with 40k viewers, and another small streamer making $85,000 after being raided by crypto enthusiasts. For a relatively small streamer like AyeHunni, who streams variety to 1.3k followers, a raid could make a huge difference to their profile. It is once again demonstrated that anti-piracy protection hampers the performance of the game on the PC. The PC port of Resident Evil Village was not terribly unoptimized, but it also did not make many players happy. Even the owners of more expensive graphics card models had the same “micro-twitches” as those who played on minimally supported hardware and this was unfortunately not improved by the official game updates. Some people have managed to alleviate the situation with various tricks, such as removing and re-inserting the graphics card into the PCI slot, installing older versions of drivers etc.  But the most effective repair seems to have come with a pirated version of the game. Basically, the first tests show that anti-piracy protection was probably the biggest culprit for the problematic performance of the game on the PC. This isn’t the first such case – we’ve seen it many times before, but apparently publishers are willing to risk negative publicity with this practice in exchange for the games not being available to pirates for the first few months of sales. Popular Twitch streamer Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki is voicing a new Genshin Impact character.  During the Genshin Impact 2.0 livestream, miHoYo announced details on the eagerly-anticipated Inazuma region update. The developers gave fans a sneak peek at a number of Inazuma enemies and locations, while also revealing the game’s new Inazuma characters. One of the new additions is none other than Sayu, a new four-star ninja character who wields an Anemo Visionanda giant claymore bigger than herself. However, one of the most interesting aspects of Sayu is that of her English VA. In fact, many LilyPichu fans will be pleasantly surprised to find that the streamer is voicing the pint-sized ninja.
