During a Christmas gift unboxing stream, Twitch streamer Pokimane receives a 'boyfriend resume' which includes gaming achievements. Twitch streamer Imane "Pokimane" Anys hosted a short Christmas stream unboxing gifts sent from her fans. Pokimane was surprised by many gifts including rare Pokemon cards, several stuffed animals, a pair of Mario-themed shoes, and much more. However, one odd gift stood out to the streamer while she opened presents. Pokimane is currently the most-followed female Twitch streamer with around 6.8 million followers. With so many followers, Pokimane is often subject to strange encounters with viewers and followers. During the unboxing gifts stream, Pokimane received a 4-page letter in the form of a "boyfriend resume," which lists several accomplishments including a college degree, a couple AI writing projects, and some gaming achievements. The resume also includes life goals and a QR code for Pokimane to scan to see pictures of the potential boyfriend. While Pokimane seemed impressed with the accomplishments and details in the resume, the gaming achievement section led to the streamer rejecting the offer. Popular Twitch streamer Natalia "Alinity" Mogollon has announced she's taking a break from streaming amid health concerns. Taking to Twitter on December 20, the streamer revealed that she was sick and thus would be "around less for a little while." At the time, Alinity committed to shorter and sporadic streams, but didn't say what she was sick with. "Yo guys. I am pretty sick. Not fun stuff," said the streamer. Twitch has signed Swedish streamer Loeya to two years of exclusivity. The Fortniter — who plays both casually and competitively — boasts 1.3 million Twitch followers and 52 million lifetime views since launching her channel in 2017. Loeya, who does not disclose her real name, was also a finalist in the ‘Twitch Streamer Of The Year’ category at last year’s Shorty Awards, and has created branded content alongside Reese’s G Fuel, Lenovo, Jazwares, and Shure. According to Esports Observer, Loeya was the seventh most-watched female streamer on Twitch in October. She also counts 259,000 subscribers on YouTube, where she will continue to post non-live content. “I’m excited to announce that I’ll be exclusively on Twitch moving forward,” the 22-year-old said in a statement. “I started out on Twitch in 2017, not knowing where it would take me. Yes, Congress approved a new bill Monday that would classify illegal streaming as a felony offense, but the feds won’t be going after your favorite Twitch streamers, YouTubers, or their subscribers. They’re more interested in services dedicated to streaming pirated content. Monday night, Congress approved an over $2 trillion government spending and coronavirus relief package that included a handful of controversial copyright and trademark measures. A felony streaming bill, authored by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), was included as part of that massive package. The news circulated all across the internet; in a poorly headlined Hollywood Reporter article, tweets, and YouTube videos. Quickly, content creators and their fans grew increasingly concerned that the bill could threaten their livelihoods or their favorite means of entertainment. Legendary streamer Dr Disrespect may have been banned from Twitch in 2020 under mysterious circumstances, but that hasn’t stopped the two-time from remaining on of the top Warzone players on the platform according to a new report. Even though Dr Disrespect was randomly permanently banned from Twitch back in June, his numbers were still high enough for him to remain the eighth most-watched Warzone streamer of 2020. The report by the esports betting site Unikrn states that Doc had a whopping 12,213,359 hours watched on Twitch while playing Warzone in 2020. This put him ahead of Cloakzy and German sensation MontanaBlack88 who rounded out the top ten. This is quite staggering considering just how much of the year Dr Disrespect missed on Twitch, with the streamer only being on Twitch for half of it.
