Following a rocky 2020, streaming mogul and two-time champion Dr Disrespect gives fans a glimpse into the content he has planned for 2021. Last year can be considered the year of the unexpected when it comes to the rise and fall of streamers. YouTuber Valkyrae exploded in popularity in mid-2020 with Among Us streams, skyrocketing from about 3,000 peak concurrent viewers to just under 67,000 by October. On the other hand, former Twitch superstar Dr Disrespect received a ban in late June that left many shocked, including the streaming mogul himself. Ever since the mysterious move, nobody on seems to know the true motivations behind the ban. Since then, he has found a massive revival on YouTube, achieving over 500,000 viewers on his comeback stream. Although the lack of reason behind the ban has been a source of anxiety for the Doc, his return to streaming has seen many successes. These include a Madden 21 Virtual Tailgate alongside rapper Snoop Dogg, and a large-scale crossover with Hi-Rez Studios for Rogue Company that included a unique character skin as well as a new map he created. #1 Hi I am currently using an iPad Air 3 running iOS 14.3. AirPods Pro's using 3A283. The issue I get is a very random one. The issue only happens when using the twitch app, it's fine when using amazon prime, YouTube and other streaming services. When I am using my iPad and AirPods on twitch, just watching streams, I get this issue where the audio/video will cut out for a second and it will be out of sync. The only way to correct the problem is to close the app and restart the app, it lasts a few mins and happens again. It's fine when I don't use the AirPods. I have updated the iPad, restored the iPad, logged out of twitch, deleted it and downloaded and signed in, checked all the settings. Also forgot the AirPods and reconnected them and checked all the settings and it's all fine. So I have used the AirPods/iPad for a while and never had the issue until I got the AirPods and Ipad replaced on the same day, this was mid December. Viewership on Twitch improves every year, but 2020’s growth was unlike anything the platform has seen before.  Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, Twitch’s more than 18 billion hours watched for the year represented an over 65-percent increase year-over-year, according to Twitch analytics site SullyGnome. In comparison, even the Fortnite boom of 2018 led by Ninja didn’t cause the same level of growth. That year, Fortnite’s more than 1.3 billion hours watched supported a more than 40-percent increase in viewership and the platform racked up 9.3 billion hours watched. Along with the Just Chatting category more than doubling its viewership, a combination of new games leaving their mark on Twitch in 2020 made a year filled with in-person event cancellations perhaps the most successful in Twitch’s history. Twitch saw some changes in 2020. In 2019, the majority of the most popular games were competitive shooters like Fortnite. While these games still reign supreme in popularity, other genres crept into the top 10 this year. There was a big change to the popular genres of 2020, thanks in part to COVID-19. The list of the top 10 games on Twitch in 2020 can vary depending on your parameters. If you’re measuring the top 10 most-streamed titles and look at the entire year, the games remain the same: Fortnite, League of Legends, and similar competitive games. The real changes appear when looking at the most-watched games, trending games, or changing the date to the latter half of the year instead of the full year. In the year 2020, one Shacker rose to the top of the ranks of those who do it for Shacknews. His name is Bryan Lefler, but you probably know him as skankcore. 2020 was full of some amazing moments at Shacknews. We interviewed countless celebrities, game developers, and muckety-mucks, but we also witnessed one Shacker rise up. The official Magic: The Gathering Twitch channel has revealed four new teaser images for the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired set, Kaldheim, and they feature the set's logo, Viking style background, and Showcase art for the upcoming Magic cards, probably for Creature cards that depict an elk, cat, ox, and horse.  Check out the Kaldheim Showcase teasers:  Wizards of the Coast will most likely reveal which Kaldheim cards feature these Showcase art when the official previews continue on Jan. 7. Earlier this month, Wizards teamed up with metal bands to give us a Week of Metal sneak peek revealing some new cards. Scott The Woz is one of the most popular gaming channels on YouTube, boasting over 1.25 million subscribers on the platform while his Twitter has just under 300,000. On December 29, the YouTuber mysteriously had all of his previous tweets deleted and replaced with either nonsensical posts or retweets of pro-hacking websites. “Like this and Scott gets his sh*t back within the hour,” one of the hackers said in a post advertising a website by an individual named YARIS. TwitterHackers started promoting their website. Croatia was rocked by a strong earthquake on December 29, that reportedly killed multiple people and was felt as far away as Rome.
