Asmongold accuses Twitch of “bias” after unbanning Nina Lin again – Dexerto

Asmongold has accused Twitch of treating Black male streamers more harshly than other groups when enforcing bans, following the platform’s decision to unban Nina Lin. The comments were made during a Boxing Day stream, as Asmongold reacted to Twitch removing its suspension on Lin’s channel. The exact cause of Nina Lin’s most recent ban, her third in 2025, was not confirmed by Twitch, but is widely believed to be because she was accused of stealing from Target on stream. Another streamer, RaKai, was also banned for apparently stealing from a store while live, after he gave flowers to a woman without paying for them. Asmongold argued after her unbanning that moderation decisions on the platform are inconsistent, suggesting that Black male creators are punished more severely for comparable offenses. Speaking to his audience, Asmongold said the situation highlighted what he sees as uneven enforcement across Twitch. He pointed to past cases involving Black male streamers who, in his view, faced longer or permanent bans for similar conduct, while others were reinstated more quickly. Asmongold just went on FULL DEFENSE mode for Rakai stating that Twitch is unfair and that they are targeting Black men following Nina Lins Unban 😳👀 "Twitch

Asmongold accuses Twitch of “treating Black men much more harshly than other … – Sportskeeda

Popular Just Chatting streamer Zack "Asmongold" has accused Twitch of "treating Black men much more harshly than other groups" following Nina Lin's unban. On December 26, 2025, a 53-second video from Asmongold's livestream surfaced on X, in which he commented on controversial personality Nina Lin's Twitch channel being reinstated. While comparing Lin's suspension to RaKai's ban, the former member of OTK (One True King) expressed his belief that the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform is "biased" and operates under a "double standard": "It's the fact that it happens, and it's biased. Right? It's a double standard, where some people get punished, like RaKai gets punished, but then Nina doesn't at all. Nina gets unbanned before RaKai. They get banned at the same time. How does this happen? It's very, very weird." Asmongold then alleged that Twitch "treats Black men more harshly than other groups." He elaborated: "It's like, how many points on the graph do you need, where Twitch treats people that are minorities, especially Black men. Twitch treats Black men much more harshly than, I think, other groups. I think this is undeniable. And, like, they don't acknowledge them. I don't know what this is. It's selective, yeah. It's very, very

Twitch Proxy Buyer’s Guide: What To Look For

Story Highlight Twitch tracks login habits and traffic sources more closely than before to prevent automation and account abuse. Connections that look like home or mobile data are less likely to trigger security checks than cheap server-based (datacenter) proxies. People use proxies to manage multiple channels, so Twitch doesn’t see them as connected, which prevents a single issue from affecting every account. Twitch isn’t the wild west it used to be. These days, the platform watches everything closely, from how often you log in to where your traffic comes from. Whether you’re running multiple channels, managing bots, or just trying to avoid random lockouts, IP behavior matters more than most people realize. That’s why proxies have quietly become part of the Twitch toolkit. Not for shady reasons, but because Twitch’s systems are far less forgiving than they were a few years ago. The problem is that a lot of proxy advice online is either outdated or written like a sales pitch. So let’s talk honestly about what actually matters when choosing a Twitch proxy, and what usually goes wrong. Why Twitch Cares So Much About Your IP Streaming on Twitch. Every IP address carries a history. Twitch checks where it’s
