A 43-year-old Nottingham man charged with storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 is facing additional charges after investigators found illegal firearms and drugs as part of their search for evidence of his role in the insurrection. Elias Nick Costianes Jr. was charged in March for entering the Capitol, after a tipster referred the FBI to Costianes’ Snapchat account. Those videos showed him climbing scaffolding outside the building and entering the balcony of the Senate chamber. Authorities unsealed a new criminal complaint on Wednesday, detailing how they found two unregistered guns during a February search of the home where Costianes was staying, as well as evidence that he was involved in dealing marijuana and heavily used cocaine and testosterone. During a search of his iCloud account they found hundreds of conversations about buying and selling drugs, they wrote. Costianes’ attorney, Joseph Conte, declined to comment on the new charges. Costianes allegedly told authorities that he took testosterone for a medical condition, and obtained it illegally because he did not “believe in prescriptions.” But the FBI says he was not only buying but selling testosterone, as well as cocaine. (KAKE) - A Wichita woman posted a video on social media showing a non-verbal special needs student in the shower, according to a court affidavit.The affidavit says Taylor Flowers was an employee at Heartspring, a residential school for children with disabilities in northeast Wichita, on Nov. 17, 2020 when she took a video of a 17-year-old girl as she was in the shower. The video was posted on Flower's Snapchat story. Another Heartspring employee saw the video and alerted authorities, according to the affidavit. Flowers was interviewed last December and admitted to filming the girl, but said she did so only after she had received a picture of a different student on the toilet from another Heartspring employee. Flowers told detectives she "knew it wasn't right" and intended to tell supervisors of the photo the other employee took of the student, but instead filmed her own video. She said she meant to send it to the other employee, but accidentally shared it on her Snapchat story. Flowers told detectives that she removed the video immediately after discovering what she had done. "She stated she would be upset if it was her daughter and she would have never done it if she hadn't received…

(WSIL) -- Harrisburg Unit #3 schools were placed on lockdown Monday, after a threat was reported. The district was notified of a random Snapchat post indicating a threat to a school. There was no particular school, student, or staff member identified in the message. All Unit #3 schools were put on lockdown and law enforcement was notified, and is currently assisting in the investigation. The district said there is no credible threat to any Harrisburg school and there is no need to remove your child from school. All students are safe.

The duo used Snapchat and WhatsApp to threaten the minor girl. Duo had allegedly told the girl that they would kill her parents if she didn’t agree. The two men initially sent messages on Snapchat and eventually became friends with the girl. During one of their conversations, the man sent her a photo in the buff and asked her to send hers as well. When the girl refused their demands the man along with another friend, started threatening to kill her parents. The girl immediately told her ordeal to her parents, who then lodged a case against unknown persons at the local police station. The Crime Branch formed a team and began investigating the case. After a four-hour search, they were able to trace and arrest the culprits.

A 19-year-old former Berkeley High School student was arrested earlier this week in connection with an alleged hacking and blackmail scheme involving nude photos of underage girls, some of whom he went to school with.High school girls in Berkeley, as well as from public and private schools in Alameda, Contra Costa, and Marin counties, report being "targeted" by a hacker who was initially only identified by the handle "willkonlo." As Berkeleyside reports, via the Berkeley Police Department and the FBI, the hacker began last summer by hacking the Snapchat accounts of several Berkeley High students, and then attempting to extort more nude photos of the girls via text. Berkeley High School officials reached out to the police on May 10.Police arrested 19-year-old Liam Burgmann near his Berkeley hills home on Monday. As KTVU reports, in addition to finding evidence of blackmail, police say they found, through search warrants, that Burgmann was in possession of names, account information, and contact information for over 100 girls, many between the ages of 15 and 17.
