In a fast-scroll world, especially one dominated by Gen Z’s fragmented, dopamine-driven attention spans, traditional advertising is fast becoming white noise. The challenge isn’t just to be seen—it’s to be remembered. And increasingly, that requires more than visibility. It demands storytelling that sticks. The state made the allegations in a 90-page lawsuit filed against Snap Inc. in Utah's 3rd District Court on Monday, claiming the company has violated state laws on consumer protection and privacy. The complaint aims to stop what the state alleges is "Snap's continued use of deceptive design features that addict children; harm their mental health and well-being; and facilitate illegal drug sales, sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, the distribution of pornography and other unlawful acts." "Snapchat's features facilitate sexual predators and drug dealers' efforts to target and exploit children," said Attorney General Derek Brown, whose office filed suit on behalf of the state's Division of Consumer Protection. "We will continue to do everything in our power to protect Utah kids from exploitation. My office will not be deterred in its efforts to keep children safe online." It's not the first legal action Utah has taken against major social media platforms in recent years, and many of the allegations in this lawsuit — including

Filed in state court on June 30, the lawsuit alleged that Snapchat is designed to steal time and attention away from teens at the expense of their development, health and welfare. “The well-bring of our children must come before corporate profits,” according to Gov. Spencer Cox. “We won’t sit back while tech companies exploit young users.” The lawsuit -- jointly announced by Cox, Attorney General Derek Brown and Margaret Busse, executive director of the Utah Department of Commerce – is the state’s fourth court action against a major social media company, including coordinated lawsuits filed against Meta and TikTok. The court papers charge that Snapchat profits from “… unconscionable design features created to addict children to the app and facilitates illegal drug sales and sextortion.” The Utah lawsuit also criticizes Snapchat's artificial intelligence chatbot, My AI. State officials contend that My AI was still experimental when it was released, lacking proper testing and safety protocols. The chatbot gives misleading and harmful advice to underage users, including how to hide alcohol and drugs or set the mood for

Sitting down with Jackie Redmond and Byron Saxton on the post-show panel, Paul Levesque thanked Turki Al-Sheikh and the General Entertainment Authority for hosting the event in Saudi Arabia. But it was his comments about Punk that caught everyone’s attention. Levesque reflected on how much has changed, admitting he never thought he’d see Punk competing in Saudi Arabia for WWE. “If you’d have told me 10 years ago that CM Punk would be here in Saudi for the WWE, I would have thought you’re out of your mind.” But Triple H made it clear—people change, and Punk has evolved. “But people grow, people change, people evolve, and they learn, and they learn a lot in life.” The WWE executive went on to praise Punk for how he handled himself during the trip, including his public apology to the people of Saudi Arabia. “I was privileged to watch him grow as a human being, to step out here and apologize to the people of Saudi, to just cherish where he is at in life and his career
