The dolphins were off the job for their video project. The scientists wanted to see them do what they do best: hunt fish. One of the dolphins, though, opted for a more unorthodox meal. Cameras recorded her eating eight yellow-bellied sea snakes one day. Prior to this study, which was published in the journal PLOS ONE on Wednesday, there was no documentation of dolphins eating sea snakes — only playing with them and releasing them. by Alex Billington August 17, 2022Source: Vimeo "Won't we go to funfair?" No matter where you live on this planet, life is not easy when you have no money. This is the great struggle with humanity, as we still haven't been able to solve this problem for all. Funfair is an award-winning short film from the streets of Tehran, Iran made by filmmaker Kaveh Mazaheri. This originally premiered in 2019 and he went on to debut his very first feature, titled Botox, in 2020. The film won a Special Mention for Best International Short at Palm Springs Shortfest 2020. After years of waiting and playing on the festival circuit, it's available to watch online. In Funfair, Majid is a financially struggling man who comes up with a ploy in order to better the life of his wife Sarah - pushing her in front of a car to collect the insurance money. Starring Soroush Saeidi, Sonia Sanjari, and Artin Rabiei. This reminds me of Ramin Bahrani's outstanding indie film Man Push Cart. It's seriously worth 15 minutes to watch this. Thanks to Vimeo Staff Picks for the tip on this short. Brief synopsis via Vimeo: "Majid a young financially struggling Iranian…

First time GOOD Double Blessing fundraiser a big success – PembinaValleyOnline.com

The GOOD Double Blessing event.mp4 from Nelson Gaspar Drives on Vimeo. The Love Well Women's Drop-in Centre organized GOOD Double Blessing walk, run, cycle fundraiser this past Saturday, August 13th again showed the generosity of the community. According to organizer Nadine Klassen, between pledges and the raffle held that day, over $8,000 has been raised with donations still coming in.  One walker and twenty-four cyclists participated, but Klassen notes over 100 people contributed to the day in some fashion. The money raised from the 11km event, which took place along the Trans Canada Trail between Gretna and Altona, will support the Altona based organization, as well as the  the Community Transformation Foundation, a Canadian charity that supports Hijos de Dios Community Centre in Guatemala that helps support women who face abuse and prejudice. In a previous story with PembinaValleyOnline, Klassen explained the commonality between the two centres is relationships are being built with the women in each community. "At the Love Well Centre...we don't provide counselling per say, but we provide mentorship and we have resources that we can reach out that can help," said Klassen. "The main goal is to mentor women, build relationships and provide a strong community."

CASE Constriction Equipment has launched a new national brand campaign developed by end-to-end creative production agency, Rhythm.‘Let’s make noise’ recognises that silence is the enemy of industry and that a noisy worksite is a lucrative worksite. The films were shot over four days in Perth Busselton, Gidgegannup, and Hazelmere, with production completed in-house at Rhythm’s Subiaco studio with Cue Sound.“It was a challenging shoot with multiple locations that had to look like active building sites that were more Australian than Western Australian.
