It's been a wet summer so far in Calgary and the surrounding areas, with lots of rain and cooler temperatures.  Those two things are putting a damper on business for places like Calgary restaurant Porch, which relies on its patio to bring in patrons during the summer.  “It is unfortunate," Porch bartender Yianni Kounougeris said. "We have been a little bit slower now because of this." The patio isn’t the restaurant’s only outdoor feature. It also has a roof over half of its dining space and part of the bar that can fully open, giving customers a chance to soak in the summer weather.  "It really does provide that great patio atmosphere … almost to provide you with an escape, as if you were on vacation, like in Mexico or Hawaii," Kounougeris said.  However, that patio stays closed when it rains. "Hopefully later in July, come Stampede, we’ll have nicer weather have somewhat of a summer," Kounougeris said.  Yianni Kounougeris is a bartender at Calgary restaurant Porch. The NSW rail union has won the right to continue with industrial action.The rail union has won the right to continue industrial action after the NSW government attempted to block further disruption of the state's train network.Earlier, NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said calling in the industrial umpire was in the best interest of commuters after a week of failed negotiations.But the government lost its bid to halt a second week of industrial action after an interim hearing before the Fair Work Commission. A full hearing will take place on Thursday.Industrial action brought by the Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) is due to continue on Wednesday and Friday, reducing the number of rail services by about 30 per cent.The rail union wound back its previous plans to ban all foreign-made trains from service, which would have reduced services by up to 70 per cent amid severe wet weather.Speaking before the ruling, Mr Perrottet said the government's decision to go to the commission was the only way to resolve the dispute and end the industrial action.Negotiations have failed despite an offer from the government to make $264 million in safety changes to the Korean-built fleet of trains that is the basis…

But he caught it nonetheless as a result of a fan trolling the entire tennis world by replying to a Wimbledon highlight with “Not a sport.” Whoever runs the US Open account emphatically shut the thought down by using the sad state of the Seahawks quarterback room after trading Russell Wilson to make an example of the fan. Twitter introduced its paid service Twitter Blue last year. The social networking website is now allowing the Twitter Blue subscribers on Android to customise the navigation bar of the app. Earlier available to iOS users, the feature will enable them to get rid of the Spaces icon which is placed in the middle of the navigation bar. Along with this, users are also allowed to remove some other tabs as well. The customisable navigation bar will allow the users to reduce the number of displayed tabs. The number of tabs can now be decreased to two. Apart from this, users can also keep all the five tabs by default. Twitter introduced the Spaces tab in the navigation bar for the iOS users last year and it was rolled out for the Android users in May this year. A 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio was denied an abortion, sparking outrage online as many Republican-led states strip away reproductive rights following the Supreme Court's overruling of Roe v. Wade.Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an obstetrician-gynecologist in Indianapolis, received a call last Monday, three days after the Court's ruling, from a child abuse doctor in Ohio who had a 10-year-old girl in their office who was six weeks and three days pregnant, and therefore ineligible to receive an abortion in the state, according to a report from The Indianapolis Star.The child was unable to receive an abortion in Ohio because the state bans the procedure after six weeks when fetal cardiac activity may be detected. Some Republican-led states banned abortions at that point, claiming that a heartbeat can be detected within that timeframe.However, these so-called "fetal heartbeat" bans on abortion have faced criticism from medical experts, many of whom argue there is no heartbeat at six weeks. Rather, doctors can detect a flutter in the region where the heart will eventually form. Additionally, many women and girls do not know they are pregnant at that point.
