JioDown Trends on Twitter, Multiple Reliance Jio Users Reporting Issues on DownDetector …

JioDown is trending on Twitter today, just a day after the massive Facebook outage that took WhatsApp offline for almost seven hours late on Monday night. At the time of writing there are almost 4,000 reports of issues with Jio connections on the Internet outage tracker DownDetector, and rising quickly. Looking at the data on DownDetector, the issues started getting reported around 9:30am on Wednesday morning, and have started to peak in about an hour.As you can see on DownDetector, there has been a sharp rise in issues reported with Jio, which indicates that there might be a real issue with connectivity, as almost half the reports say there is no connectivity. According to DownDetector's map of reports, the issue seems fairly widespread with reports clustered around Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, and Raipur. Although Jio hasn't issued a statement on this so far, the company's Twitter handle has responded to users saying that it is having connectivity issues.Reports of outages on Reliance JioPhoto Credit: Screenshot/ DownDetectorThe same could be seen on Twitter as well, with the hashtag JioDown trending today — and many users also quoting Reliance Jio's tweet about the Facebook outage, where Jio had tweeted that "it's not…

Global Facebook outage causes hilarity on F1 Twitter feed – GPblog.com

On Monday, there was a global outage at Facebook, which caused Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to go down. Formula 1 teams generally use Twitter, so there was a bit of a chuckle about the other platforms. On Tuesday morning the malfunction was solved again, but on Monday there was a worldwide malfunction at Facebook. The cause is not yet known, but the failure caused the three largest media platforms to come to a standstill. Twitter was still working and that caused hilarity among the F1 teams and drivers. Associated PressColumn: Tiger Woods brings it home, a quarter century laterDavis Love III was in contention, as if anyone cared. “Bring it on home Mr. Woods,” the well lubricated shouted from the hillsides as Woods surged into contention in the Las Vegas Invitational, a tournament that was suddenly the hottest ticket in town. “Tiger, Tiger, Tiger,” they chanted as they strained, jostling one another to get a glimpse of the greatness to come.Associated PressNFL Today, Week 4The AFC West is looking like the best division in football with the emergence of the Broncos and the undefeated Raiders, who are off to their first 3-0 start since 2002, the last season they reached the Super Bowl. Las Vegas is sure to have plenty of fan support when it visits SoFi Stadium — the Raiders have more history in Los Angeles than the Chargers, who moved there in 2017. Although both teams have been impressive early, their games have been close — two of the Raiders' wins were in overtime, while Justin Herbert has directed two winning fourth-quarter drives for the Chargers.
