iPhone 13 vs iPhone 12? Twitter Can't See The Difference – NDTV.com

Memes flooded Twitter after the launch of Apple iPhone 13.Apple announced the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro series on Tuesday - and, as expected, the new launches received the traditional meme treatment on social media. There are four new iPhone 13 models corresponding to last year's iPhone 12 lineup: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, Apple did not opt for a radical redesign for their iPhone 13 series, and Twitter users were hard pressed to find any immediate difference between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. On social media, this became a rallying point for meme-makers who created hilarious posts by juxtaposing nearly-identical images to compare the new Apple iPhone with its previous iteration. Take a look at some of the funniest iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13 memes that have flooded Twitter:iPhone 12 users upgraded to iPhone 13 be like : #AppleEventpic.twitter.com/6Z4nNS1W7L— ???? Twitter temporarily freezes McLaughlin account | WNYT.com

"I posted something about Brian Stelter, who is a babbling idiot from CNN," McLaughlin admitted, "That's my opinion as an American with first Amendment rights." Just moments after posting that Tweet, McLaughlin says Twitter notified him his account was being blocked for violating the company's rules against abuse and harassment. "Nothing I said there was abusive," McLaughlin stresses, "There was no violence. there was nothing that would have constituted it." McLaughlin says he wears the 12 hour suspension as a badge of courage, joining the likes of Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, and Roger Stone, along with more than 360,000 others who have been silenced by Twitter. "If you're threatening violence, harm, anything like that, any terroristic threat (you should be blocked)," McLaughlin opines, "the Taliban doesn't get banned on Twitter but Donald Trump does? People have to wake up to what's going on in this country. This is serious stuff and somebody saying something harsh to a journalist is a lot less important than the protection of a God-given constitutional right." McLaughlin concedes there is a difference between a tech giant and the government setting free speech standards, but there's also a distinction. "That's sort of a canard to say,…

100 days after Twitter ban, uncertainty trails FG's plan – The Guardian Nigeria

• It’s Twitter that is delaying, says Presidency source • Economy biggest casualty as losses hit N246b • Social enterprise groups meet today to discuss the way forward • Stakeholders appeal to govt to resolve issues, not kill online community The promise by the Federal Government that the ban placed on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, will be lifted soon appears to be fading away, as the suspension hits 100 days today.     The Federal Government had announced the suspension of Twitter operations in the country on June 4, after the social media giant deleted a post by President Muhammadu Buhari for “violation of the company’s abusive behaviour policy.”     By June 5, the suspension was effected by telecommunications companies as Nigerians woke up to a Twitter shutdown across all platforms.     Three months down the line, it appears no truce has been formally reached by the two parties or better still, they have been sluggish in agreeing on the way forward. Though, on August 19, the Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, disclosed that from the 10 demands put forward to lift Twitter suspension, the social networking platform had acceded to seven.     Mohammed actually disclosed this in Washington…

Kapil Sharma reminds Kangana Ranaut how she called Twitter users 'velle' in 2017, this …

Actor Kangana Ranaut appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show's Saturday episode to promote her latest movie, Thalaivii. There, host Kapil Sharma reminded Kangana of one of her previous appearances on the show, when she did not speak highly of those who ‘waste time’ on social media. In 2017, when Kangana arrived on the show with actor Shahid Kapoor to promote their movie Rangoon, she had said that only ‘velle (idle)’ people use social media. “Mujhe aisa lagta hai jaise social media pe saare velle log hote hain jinko kuch kaam nahi hota karne ko,” she had said. “You don't get time to speak with the people you know. What will you say to those you don't even know. Busy people go to work, are caught up in the difficulties that their lives throw at them,” she added. “Ye saare velle log Twitter, Facebook, Instagram pe rehte hai aur khud pe inhone kitne case bhi karwa liye hain (All these jobless people stay on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and even got themselves caught up in legal cases),” she had said, pointing towards Kapil.Kangana could not help but laugh at her words and the irony of it all. She joined Twitter last year…

UK football Twitter reactions to gutsy win vs Mizzou Tigers – A Sea Of Blue

The Kentucky Wildcats win absolute war in Lexington to open SEC play over the Missouri Tigers, 35-28. The Wildcats were plagued by turnovers all game long and mistakes all game long on, but answered on the offensive end with Will Levis, Chris Rodriguez, and Wan’Dale Robinson answering when Kentucky needed it most. It was a run-dominant game by the Wildcats, reverting back to the power-run days of the past few seasons of the Mark Stoops tenure. CRJ ran for over 200 yards and four total touchdowns, with Will Levis adding one on the ground himself. Wan’Dale Robinson became the first UK receiver with back-to-back 100-yard games since Jeff Badet in 2016. Robinson is a legit game-changer on the field. This brings Kentucky to 2-0 on the season going into the Chattanooga game. With this win, this sets Kentucky up for prime position to contend for the SEC East for the first time since 2018. Here’s what Twitter had to say about the hyped SEC matchup: FINAL: Kentucky 35, Missouri 28Chris Rodriguez: 27 rushes, 207 yards, 4 total TDWan'Dale Robinson: 8 offensive touche, 174 yardsThe Wildcats are 2-0 with a real shot at a 4-0 start before hosting Florida on Oct.…

Auburn football Twitter hijacking the Steve from Blue's Clues meme – Fly War Eagle

Auburn football Twitter has done it again, folks. We can always be sure of two things when it comes to the Tigers’ Twitter community: fights with the beat writers and ridiculous Auburn memes.Recently, Steve from Blue’s Clues has been making internet headlines with a PSA to all the people who watched him on the TV show as children.Yes, it seems that things have gotten bad enough that Steve from Nick Jr.’s Blue’s Clues decided that he needed to address the nation. He appealed to college-aged students than the usual younger kids, asking us to look at all we’ve accomplished since he handed Blue’s Clues over to Joe.So about that time Steve went off to college… #BluesClues25 pic.twitter.com/O8NOM2eRjy— Nick Jr. (@nickjr) September 7, 2021The video is sweet and kind and definitely tugs at your heartstrings, so naturally, the Auburn family had to take it over to make it all about the Tigers. With plenty of material from the other memes generated this season, namely the one about a certain dark horse, fans hijacked the meme in several memorable ways. From the Kick 6 to Bo Nix’s A-Day meme to long-lost bars, there were all sorts of opportunities for Auburn fans to manipulate…
