Twitter reacts to Kentucky's Gator Bowl berth vs. NC State

The Kentucky Wildcats will be facing off against the NC State Wolfpack in the Gator Bowl, it was announced Sunday. This will mark Kentucky’s fifth straight bowl appearance under Mark Stoops, with the Wildcats winning their last two against Penn State and Virginia Tech, respectively. Kentucky will look to continue their bowl winning streak, and build some momentum heading into next season if they can snag a win against the Wolfpack. This will mark Kentucky’s second appearance in the Gator Bowl under Stoops, as they faced off against Georgia Tech in 2016, Stoops’ first bowl game at Kentucky. Here is how Twitter reacted to the announcement of the Wildcats vs the Wolfpack: Kentucky hasn't played NC State in football or men's basketball since 1986. Twitter wonders if Tyreek Hill was boozin' on the sideline in New Orleans

What is Tyreek Hill’s secret? Perhaps it’s the mysterious small bottle he was drinking out of during Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Hill had just put the Chiefs on the board with a 5-yard touchdown reception when the camera showed him on the sideline getting his hamstrings worked on by the trainer. But it was what Hill was drinking that caught the eyes of everyone on social media. The speedy receiver was taking a sip of something yellow out of a small bottle – the type of bottle you normally get when you purchase alcohol on the airplane. Naturally, this piqued the interest of many on social media who began investigating what Hill was drinking. I mean, he is in New Orleans, but what was that mysterious yellow bottle? While there were plenty of liquor jokes, former Chargers team doctor David J. Chao speculated that was likely pickle juice. Not as good of a story, but a likelier explanation. Twitter reactions to Kentucky falling to 1-5 after losing to UNC

The Kentucky Wildcats are 1-5 for the first time since the 1926-27 season, as they suffered their fifth-straight loss today after falling 75-63 to the North Carolina Tar Heels in the CBS Sports Classic. Kentucky could not stay out of foul trouble as Lance Ware and Isaiah Jackson both fouled out with over six minutes left to play, Olivier Sarr fouled out with just over 4:30 to play, and Terrence Clarke fouled out with a minute left. Despite the foul trouble, Kentucky took the lead into halftime (38-34), but the Tar Heels out scored the Cats 41-25 in the second half to pick up the victory. With the loss, UK’s NCAA Tournament hopes took yet another hit as they’re now 1-5 and have lost all four of their games against non-power five opponents so far this season. Here’s a look at what Kentucky Twitter had to say about yet another UK loss. First Half: Good! I was hoping to watch some aggressive refereeing today and not Isaiah Jackson. (Slams back recliner)— Big Blue Drew (@BigBlueDrew33) December 19, 2020 I think I could walk into a UNC practice and start getting some shots up and no one would say a word.—…

Elizabeth Banks Speaks Out On Twitter After 'Stand Your Ground' Bill Passes In Ohio House

December 18, 2020 at 1:32 pm PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Actress Elizabeth Banks is speaking out in regards to a Stand Your Ground bill that passed the Ohio House on Thursday. According to Cleveland.com, the bill now must pass the Senate before heading to the desk of Governor Mike DeWine. If the bill were to pass and be signed into law, Ohio would become the 36th state that would no longer require a ‘duty to retreat’ before using force. Following the passing of the bill, Elizabeth Banks took to Twitter with threaded commentary on the subject. She referenced a time when she would play hide-and-seek in neighbors’ yards with friends a child. One evening, a resident who mistook the children for intruders used a bow and arrow to try and scare them away. Fortunately, no one was hurt, Banks said, but the neighbor didn’t yell out any warnings beforehand and she fears a similar situation could lead to a much worse outcome in this age. “If I’d been shot and killed playing hide and seek would that new neighbor have been able to just shrug his shoulders while living across the street from my grieving parents? With laws like this, probably yes,”…

No Criminal Charges for Accessing Trump's Twitter Account

Identity & Access Management , Security Operations Report: Dutch Police Say Security Researcher Acted Ethically Prajeet Nair (@prajeetspeaks) • December 18, 2020     Dutch police will not press charges against a security researcher who claimed he gained access to U.S. President Donald Trump's official Twitter account earlier this year by guessing the password. Police determined the researcher acted ethically by alerting authorities to the access and offering risk mitigation advice, according to a local news report.See Also: The 10 Essential Capabilities of a Best-of-Breed SOAR Victor Gevers, a security researcher at the GDI Foundation and chairman of the Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure, claimed in October that it took only five guesses before he hit on the password "maga2020!" to gain access to @RealDonaldTrump Twitter accounts. Gevers claimed that he had the ability to change the password and profile picture and could have downloaded Trump's Twitter history, which would have included the direct messages associated with the account. And while news of the Trump account access prompted a police investigation, a representative of the Dutch Public Prosecution Service said Gevers acted ethically by attempting to contact numerous U.S. government agencies, including the FBI, Secret Service and CIA, to alert…

Twitter planning to create label for automated 'bot' accounts

TipRanks3 “Strong Buy” Stocks That Are Still UndervaluedAfter a year that most of us want to forget, 2021 is shaping up to start with stability and an even keel. The election is safely behind us, the new Biden Administration promises a ‘no drama’ approach, a closely divided and hyper-partisan Congress is unlikely to enact any sweeping legislation, reform or otherwise, and COVID vaccines are ready for distribution. It’s a recipe for a calm news cycle.Which makes it a perfect time to buy into the stock market. Investors can read the tea leaves, or study the data – whatever their preferred mode of stock analysis – and use this period of calm to make rational choices on the stock moves. Using the TipRanks database, we’ve pulled up three stocks that present a bullish case. All three meet a profile that should interest value investors. They hold unanimous Strong Buy consensus ratings, along with a ‘perfect 10’ from the Smart Score. That score, a unique measure, evaluates a stock based on 8 factors with a proven high correlation to future overperformance. Recruiting is shifting towards Twitter despite some feeling it's unnecessary

Easton Durham’s Twitter bio is laid out like Army barracks. It’s perhaps the only thing traditional about his approach to an old art: recruiting. Durham’s 132-character bio is a neatly thought-out summary of himself, a snapshot and an eye-catcher all in one.It reads: Highland High Idaho • C/O 2021 • 3 sport athlete • 4.5 40 yard • 3.9 GPA • 24/7 (two-star) • 1st team all conference QB and DB • |i fear GOD.|“Basically, it’s like your application to get a job,” Durham, a senior quarterback at Highland, said. Deciding on those listings in that order is a science, and Durham thinks it’s nearly perfect. It certainly fits the criteria. Those who deal with recruiting every day have begun to understand the wave of social media and its impact on recruiting. It can be free marketing if done right. Some kids, though, don’t get that far.Durham, who said both of his offers were a result of his social media persistence, went to a number of recruiting camps over the last two years. High school student-athletes pay to attend these camps, knowing they will be filmed and coaches will see it, either on tape or in-person. The camps also include speakers,…

Pitt's Kenny Pickett goes on Twitter to announce he will return for the 2021 season

With three words on Twitter five days after the last game of the season, Kenny Pickett changed the entire course of the Pitt football program. For, at least, as he stated: “One more year.” Pickett, who has been Pitt’s starting quarterback since the last game of the 2017 season, indicated he is taking advantage of the NCAA one-time eligibility waiver and will return for the 2021 season, his fifth. He offered no further comment. One more year. #H2P pic.twitter.com/mb5avpKIXe — Kenny Pickett (@kennypickett10) December 16, 2020 Pickett’s decision is a bit of a surprise. He was honored with nine other seniors at the final home game Nov. 21 against Virginia Tech. But he obviously believes he has some unfinished business at Pitt after a season with high expectations ended with a 6-5 record and the team’s decision to decline a bowl invitation. Plus, another season of development would make Pickett, 22, even more attractive to the NFL in 2022. Pickett has started 37 games at Pitt after enrolling in January 2017 to get a head start on his college career. He seized the starting job from Ben DiNucci late in that season. In the process, he became the first Pitt…
