ECU Takes American Conference Championship 1-0 – UTSA Athletics

CLEARWATER, Fla. – On Sunday, UTSA Baseball wrapped up its stay at the 2026 American Conference Championship. The Roadrunners fell by a score of 1-0 at the hands of second-seeded East Carolina, dropping the 12th and final game of the tournament. ECU clinched the league’s automatic bid to an NCAA Regional, leaving UTSA (38-20, 17-10) with hopes of earning an at-large bid on Monday. FIRST INNING To kick off the title bout, Head Coach Pat Hallmark turned to true freshman Jake Qualia for his fourth start of the campaign. Jordan Ballin was exceptional at second base, retiring all three batters with a popup, lineout and groundout to cap a 1-2-3 frame. In the home half, two free bases with one away went unsupported as both sides entered the second in search of their first hit. SECOND INNING After Diego Diaz collided with Aidan Eshelman on a ground ball, Mason Jacob entered the game at third base. With the bases loaded, Lane Haworth made a backpedaling grab to keep multiple runs off the board and bring his offense back out. Ballin reached on an error ahead of an Aidan Eshelman walk, but two more ‘Runners were left stranded to maintain the

‘Runners Punch Ticket to American Championship Game – UTSA Athletics – Official Athletics Website

American Conference CLEARWATER, Fla. – On Saturday, UTSA Baseball clashed with East Carolina in a matchup of the American Conference’s top two seeds. The Roadrunners prevailed by a final score of 4-2, securing their spot in Sunday’s league championship game. Drew Detlefsen excelled at the plate while UTSA’s pitching staff strung together another stellar outing. Pat Hallmark’s squad will await Saturday night’s action to find out who will occupy the other dugout in the winner-take-all affair on ESPNEWS. FIRST INNING Senior Gunnar Brown earned his 10th start of the season, taking to the mound first. A two-out single was no issue for the Roadrunner defense as Brown notched a pair of strikeouts to send his offense out for the first time. Drew Detlefsen came up with one away, lifting his first offering high and over the left-field wall for UTSA’s first home run of the weekend. No further damage came to bear, but the American Conference Player of the Year left his mark and built an early 1-0 lead. SECOND INNING A trio of ‘Runners reached safely, with a hit batter and two walks loading the bases. An ensuing flyout with one away sent Diego Diaz sprinting home, but the

How to Clean Up Your Twitter History Before a Background Check – Grit Daily News

Updated on May 22, 2026 A background check can reach beyond resumes, references, and public records when an employer reviews public social media activity. The FTC says employers may check public social media activities, and if they use a background reporting company, written permission and Fair Credit Reporting Act rules can apply. For that reason, cleaning up an old Twitter history, now X history, works best as a careful review rather than a rushed deletion spree. The goal is to make the public account easier to understand, easier to defend, and less cluttered with old posts that no longer represent the person. Start With a Full View of the Account The first step is seeing the account the way an outside reviewer might see it. X lets users delete their own posts at any time, but X also says it does not provide a built-in way to bulk-delete posts, so larger cleanups need more planning. A person can begin with X search, profile review, and saved screenshots of anything that may need a second look. For a broader cleanup, TweetDelete can be used to search and remove old X posts and likes with filters, according to its official site, which

DVO’S DADDY OF THE WEEK: The woke mind virus This week, Wisconsin’s hardest working congressman was, as always, laser-focused on the issues that matter most to Wisconsinites: defending them against the “woke mind virus,” and personally offering condolences to the world’s richest man over the “loss” of his child to the virus. His son — who is actually his daughter now — is alive and well. All she did was come out as transgender. Never one to miss an opportunity to suck up to his ultra wealthy mega donors, Van Orden just had to offer his condolences to Musk. We are begging — genuinely, on our knees
