Coach Caitlin Clark’s Five Funniest Moments During 2025 WNBA All-Star Game

Caitlin Clark watched this year's WNBA All-Star game from the bench in Indianapolis on Saturday night, with the Indiana Fever guard still sidelined due to a groin injury. But any fan of Clark's knows the absolute menace she can be when she puts her coaching face on, and the 2025 All-Star game was no exception. Clark saw her handpicked squad get steamrolled by Team Napheesa Collier in a 151-131 defeat, getting her unofficial coaching career off to a rough start with a 0-1 record. Though Clark's group may not have brought the competitive fire, they definitely brought the vibes. Here are Clark's five funniest moments as coach for a night: Team Clark was down by more than 20 points at halftime. Before the half ended, Clark was interviewed about her overall game plan as coach. "I'm just all four-point shots, four-point shots, four-point shots," Clark said. "More, more, more." The Fever star added that she was relying on her squad's offense to get them back into the game. "Never!" Clark said, when asked if she was going to start talking defense. "Offense is what's gonna get us back in it. Just gotta make a lot of four-point shots." — ESPN

Indigenous Leaders in Canada Demand Accountability from JBIC and Mitsubishi for …

TOKYO, JP ( July 17, 2025) – Indigenous leaders from the Wet’suwet’ten Nation in Canada have formally demanded the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Mitsubishi Corporation to immediately suspend all current and potential future financing LNG Canada Project due to significant violations of Indigenous rights, ongoing human rights abuses, and severe environmental harm. Complaints were submitted this morning by  Wet’suwet’en Hereditary Chief Na’Moks and Deputy Chief of the Hagwilget Village Council Gwii Lok’im Gibuu (Jesse Stoeppler). The submissions detail how JBIC’s US$850 million financing, supported by major Japanese banks (Mizuho, MUFG, and SMBC) and Mitsubishi Corporation’s direct investment (15%), has enabled the construction of the Coastal GasLink (CGL) pipeline without the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) of the Wet’suwet’en hereditary governance, violating Canadian constitutional and international law. “JBIC and Mitsubishi’s financing of LNG Canada has violated our sovereignty, human rights and fueled colonial violence against Indigenous land defenders while destroying sensitive ecosystems on our land,” said Chief Na’Moks. “After meeting with representatives of JBIC earlier this year, and amid growing calls for more projects without meaningful Indigenous Free, Prior, and Informed Consent built in, we are taking this step to hold international financiers accountable for the realities

SEC Media Days: Auburn’s Keldric Faulk ‘leading by example’

ATLANTA – Keldric Faulk made Auburn history last year when he became the program’s youngest representative at SEC Media Days as an 18-year-old sophomore.  On track to be a three-year starter and still a teenager when the Tigers kick off the season at Baylor next month, Faulk returned to the Southeastern Conference showcase Tuesday at the College Football Hall of Fame, feeling “way more comfortable” in his second appearance at the event.  Dressed to impress once again in a black suit, white shirt, gray tie and silver chain with No. 15 and “KF” pendants, Faulk thanked his mother, Lakendral Barnes, for selecting his winning wardrobe.   “My mom gets the credit,” he said. “She got me right with the fit.” ATLANTA, GA - July 15, 2025 - Auburn Defensive Lineman Keldric Faulk (#15) during SEC Media Day at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, GA. Onscreen, the two were seen in a clearly romantic embrace but it was cut short once they saw themselves plastered for the rest of the concertgoers to see. The two immediately let go of one another, the man disappeared from the camera’s view entirely, while the woman turned her back and tried to hide their face. Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin then decided to poke fun at their reaction, saying: “Oh look at these two. Alright, come on. You’re OK. Wait, what? Either they’re having an

DomainDemo: a dataset of domain-sharing activities among different demographic groups on Twitter

Background & Summary Social media play a significant role in the distribution of information 1,2,3 , serving as essential sources of information for millions of users, especially in critical contexts such as elections 4,5 and public health crises 6,7,8,9 . The content shared on social media originates not only from the users themselves but also from a wide array of sources. In particular, posting and re-sharing links to external websites (URLs) are key mechanisms for disseminating web content on social media 10,11,12,13 . For some websites, this is a crucial way of getting traffic and for users to access their content 14,15,16,17 . For instance, Chen et al. demonstrate that social media are responsible for a substantial portion of referred visits to thegatewaypundit.com, a popular far-right news website, by analyzing its web traffic data 18 . The significance of social media in information distribution has attracted considerable research attention in recent years. However, our understanding of the role demographic factors play in this process remains limited 19,20 , even though their importance in online discourse has been discussed in prior work 21,22,23,24 . Typically, the data provided by platforms to researchers lack user-level demographic information 25,26,27 . When researchers rely

NBA Twitter reacts to first look at OKC Thunder’s new arena – Yahoo Sports

A Thunder Alley festivities zone is shown looking east from Robinson Avenue in this conceptual rendering. Nearly two years since it was first voted in, the Oklahoma City Thunder finally had a chance to see what their new home will look like three years before they officially move in. Renderings were finally published at OKC's State of the City address. The NBA champion is set to move to a new downtown OKC arena in 2028. That means only three more seasons will be played at Paycom Center. The $900 million construction cost guarantees the Thunder will stay in OKC through 2053 once it signs a new long-term lease. Advertisement The Thunder have played at Paycom Center since their relocation from Seattle in 2008. The arena opened in 2002 and is one of the smaller NBA homes. It was formerly known as the Chesapeake Energy Arena before being rebranded as Paycom Center in 2021. After capturing an NBA championship, the Thunder should remain a title contender throughout Paycom Center's final years. When the new OKC arena opens, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren will still be under contract. Thunder fans loved the new renders. Here's how social media reacted to
