Duke Dennis, Twitch and YouTube star, arrested while playing hide and seek at Texas mall

Twitch and YouTube star Duke Dennis was arrested at a mall in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday while partaking in a game of hide and seek, police said. The content creator — whose real name is Denzel Dennis — is part of the online collective know as AMP, which also includes streaming superstar Kai Cenat. Dennis, 31, was at the Shops at Rivercenter on Saturday night playing hide and seek with others while the mall was closed, according to the San Antonio Police Department. Officers responded to the mall "to remove individuals playing hide and seek" as they were "causing disruption throughout the area," police said. Security guards had advised said individuals — including Dennis — to leave the mall but they refused, per police. "An officer instructed the suspect to leave, and the suspect verbally and physically refused to leave the location," police said. "An officer instructed the suspect to place his hands by his back and that he would be arrested for criminal trespassing private property." Dennis allegedly ran away, but security guards and officers were able to arrest him, police said. He was charged with criminal trespassing and evading arrest, according to online records. MrBeast’s plan to reach a new generation of fans – Business Insider

MrBeast is branching out into animation after expanding into toys in 2024. Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for YouTube MrBeast is expanding his arsenal with a new animated series based on his top-selling toys. The YouTube megastar's animation ambitions could bring in a legion of younger fans. Here's how MrBeast is using animation and action figures to expand his reach. MrBeast has been in the lab cooking up an animated show that he hopes will hook the next generation on his videos. The world's biggest YouTuber announced a new anime-style series coming in October called "MrBeast Lab: The Descent," based on a wildly popular toy line he launched last summer. MrBeast and his team partnered with Australia-based Moose Toys for both the animated show and his "MrBeast Lab" toys. Those action figures debuted last July and became the best-selling new toy property in 2024 across 12 leading global markets tracked by retail sales data provider Circana, the company confirmed to Business Insider. "MrBeast Lab: The Descent" will debut in October. Moose Toys Still, industry insiders told BI they thought viewership for MrBeast's animated show would skew younger than his Gen Z-heavy following. I want Gemini to be my DJ in YouTube Music – Android Authority

Stephen Headrick / Android Authority Imagine having your very own DJ in your pocket, ready to mix your favorite songs at a moment’s notice. No, not your dad’s 3-5 second crossfade, but instead a completely customized mix that makes the two songs you’re transitioning between meld together like they were designed that way by the artists themselves. That’s the idea behind Apple Music’s upcoming AI-powered AutoMix feature, which is coming with this fall’s iOS 26 release. As a former Spotify user and now years-long YouTube Music user, this is the first time I’ve even batted an eye at one of Apple’s few Android apps. I’m not really a big fan of the old-school cross-fade functionality, but this is different. Google is consistently adding Gemini-powered features across all of its verticals — including in the main YouTube app — but so far, we haven’t seen much of this AI prowess in YouTube Music. AutoMix is a seemingly small Apple Music feature with big implications, and I have some ideas on how Google can bring its super-powered Gemini experience into its music app. What music streaming service do you use? 516 votes DJ Apple, spin that track! YouTube is testing Instagram-style collabs – Engadget

YouTube has started testing a new collaboration feature, similar to Instagram's and TikTok's. A Google employee explained on YouTube Help that it will allow creators to add collaborators to a video so that they can be recommended to each other's audiences. The test is only available to a small group of creators for now, but it sounds like YouTube has plans to expand its availability in the future. Lindsey Gamble, an influencer marketing consultant and advisor, has posted a screenshot showing how the experimental feature works on Threads. As you can see in the image Gamble posted, adding collaborators would show their names next to the creators on their channel. If there are too many, at least on mobile, the collaborators would show as "...and more" next to the creator's name. Tapping on it would bring up the list of people involved in the project, with the Subscribe button next to their name. On Instagram and TikTok, the creator who uploads the content will have to invite another account as a collaborator, who'll then have to approve the invitation. That'll most likely be the case here, as well, in order to ensure that creators don't randomly add other users to
