Local News The 24-year-old Utah man was charged with one count of accosting a minor for immoral purposes BRIGHTON – A Livingston County court dismissed charges this week against a Utah man accused of trying to lure an 8-year-old girl into the woods to give her “a surprise.” Ryan Josue Rojas, 24, of Herriman, Utah, was charged with one count of accosting a minor for immoral purposes in connection to the May 27 incident. Police say Rojas approached the young girl while she was riding her bike alone around 7 p.m. on Rosemary Lane, a residential street. He was wearing an ID badge for a pest control company and was reportedly posing as a traveling door-to-door salesman.
