Davidoff Cigars unveils Black Band Limited Edition in 2022

Davidoff releases a limited edition Gran Toro cigar in 2022 that combines the tobaccos of the lines Escurio, Nicaragua and Yamasá. The Limited Edition 2022 launches alongside an innovative sliding ashtray suitable for all Davidoff cigars carrying the black band. Davidoff Master Blenders have merged those landmark tobaccos from the successful Black Band Collection. The result is a diverse blend combining the sweetness of Davidoff Escurio, the intensity of Davidoff Nicaragua and the complexity of Davidoff Yamasá. The Gran Toro’s relatively big ring gauge of 58 allows for a greater amount of the Black Band Collection’s landmark tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Brazil in the filler. The consequently reduced influence of the Ecuadorian wrapper tobacco results in a highly balanced blend with a strong intensity. Right from the start, the filler and binder tobaccos create intense notes of leather, earth and pepper. In the second third, strong notes of coffee, wood and nuts stimulate the palate, only to conclude in cedar wood, dark chocolate and leather aromas.
