Amazon Ads specialist Deep Media has commenced operations in New Zealand, appointing Anna Walker as Country Lead as the country prepares for the launch of advertising on Prime Video. Walker, who will be based in Christchurch, will be responsible for leading Deep Media’s efforts in supporting independent agencies and brands throughout New Zealand to access and utilise Amazon’s advertising offerings. With a background that includes senior strategy positions at organisations such as MediaWorks, Publicis and FCB, Walker brings extensive knowledge of the needs of both agencies and clients. The company’s expansion coincides with the rollout of advertising on Prime Video, scheduled for 26 August 2025, marking a notable development in New Zealand’s media and advertising landscape.
