Discord now lets you customize your user profile on its apps – TechCrunch

For mobile users, Discord adds one new feature found in traditional social apps. After the feature was released in the desktop version of Discord in late June, the company exposed users with the option to customize their profile across iOS and Android apps on Tuesday. The new option is in Discord’s User Preferences menu under User Profiles. Here you can describe yourself with less than 190 characters, including links and emoji. You can also choose a custom profile color if the new default profile color assigned by Discord is not vibrating all of you.. If you don’t see the option yet, it’s a widespread feature and you should check it again. With the addition of custom profiles, the company also gave premium Nitro subscribers the option to choose an image or animated GIF as their profile banner. Desktop options have been around for a while, but additional customization features will allow anyone who primarily uses Discord on iOS or Android to get a little spice.
