Doctor have issued an urgent health warning as a popular diabetes drug is being sold illegally on social media platforms such as Facebook. Prescription drugs to treat the condition like Ozempic, Wagovy and Saxenda are being flogged online to people desperate to shed weight, after a number of high-profile celebrities and personalities reported slimming down after using them. Semaglutide, which is often marketed under the aforementioned brand names is an appetite-supressing injection, used to treat type-2 diabetes.
