Dodgers Video: Will Smith Meets Hollywood Actor Will Smith

Over the years it has become standard to spot a multitude of celebrities at Dodger Stadium on any given night. For Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith, he shares a name with one of the biggest celebrities of them all. Since making his debut in 2019, Smith has embraced the comparisons, walking up to the plate to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song blaring on the Dodger Stadium speakers. Just before Christmas, the two finally had a chance to meet each other when Smith was a guest on a special holiday edition of the actor’s Snapchat series “Will From Home”: Together, the Smiths helped make the holidays brighter for 8-year-old Aaron Moreno, who buys plants and sells them for a profit to help his parents pay the bills. Moreno’s efforts allowed his family to buy a new car, move into a new apartment and bring his sister home from Mexico. Touched by the story, the actor purchased $1,000 worth of plants from Moreno.
