McCALL — A public hearing on the 97-home Boulder Creek development in Donnelly was continued to Feb. 9, with city council members saying they needed more time to consider the application. The public hearing will be taken up again to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9 at the Donnelly Community Center and will be limited to discussion on the subject of a second access point for the development. Mayor Susan Dorris recused herself from the council deliberations for the hearing, citing herself as a neighbor to the proposed development. Ten people spoke in opposition and six people wrote in with concerns regarding the Boulder Creek proposal during the public hearing on Monday. The development is proposed to be built on about 23 acres on Eld Lane in Donnelly and includes 97 homes referred to as “multi-family units,” 14 recreational cabins, three short-term rentals, a clubhouse and an outdoor commercial entertainment facility.
