Police were called to reports of a crash on Altrincham Road in Baguley last night. When they arrived the driver had left the scene, and was thought to have left on foot. Altrincham Road was shut for about an hour at its junction with Hall Lane, as police worked at the scene. A GMP spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 8.45pm on Friday 18 June to Altrincham Road, Manchester to a report of a collision. (Image: Manchester Evening News) “Emergency services attended and enquiries established a car had been in collision with a traffic light. “The driver failed to remain at the scene and is believed to have fled on foot. “Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
