Ex-Broncos RB Jaleel McLaughlin posts ‘farewell’ on Instagram

Aug. 30, 2026, 4:54 p.m. MT Jaleel McLaughlin is not going to be a member of the Denver Broncos’ 53-man roster. That, sadly, was expected by many. McLaughlin posted a farewell message to Broncos Country on Instagram on Sunday, right around the time that teams had to finalize their initial 53-man rosters. It brings an end to McLaughlin’s three-year run with the team after going undrafted out of Youngstown State. McLaughlin will now hit waivers and be available to be claimed by any other team. It is likely that a team needing depth at the running back position could bring him aboard. The Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders could be among the teams looking at his services.
