In the report, Russian authorities alleged that FaceTime and Snapchat were being used to “organize and carry out terrorist acts” and to recruit individuals involved in such activities. The platforms were also reportedly linked to other criminal activities, including fraud. Russia recently warned WhatsApp that it could face a complete ban for allegedly violating local laws.
