A Facebook Marketplace transaction in Fairfield ended in an alleged armed robbery when a prospective buyer displayed a handgun and fled with a MacBook, police said. Courtesy of Fairfield Police FAIRFIELD — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred during a Facebook Marketplace transaction late Friday, officials said. Officers responded to an armed robbery report in the area of Jeniford Road around 10 p.m. Friday, according to Fairfield police. Article continues below this ad The victim told officers they had arranged to sell a MacBook through Facebook Marketplace when the prospective buyer allegedly displayed a handgun and fled with the laptop without paying.
