The fire initially broke out just before 5 a.m. The Oak Creek Fire Department said it took firefighters 15 minutes to extinguish the flames. 12 News crews observed firefighters back at the scene hours later, around 10:30 a.m. It appeared the fire had rekindled. The Oak Creek Fire Department posted photos online showing large flames engulfing the building at the Residences at Oak View community, located off Howell Avenue. Nobody was hurt in the fire.
