Former Madison teacher sentenced to 18 years in federal prison in child porn case – Fox 47

David Fawcett pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of producing child pornography. He faces a minimum 15 years in prison. He was originally charged with two counts of producing child pornography. According to a criminal complaint, Fawcett exchanged messages with a 15-year-old girl from Texas using the social media app Snapchat. He asked her for nude images and sent her nude images of himself. Fawcett previously taught at Nuestro Mundo Community School but was dismissed following his arrest. His prison sentence will be followed by 20 years of supervised release.
