GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Authorities arrested a man from Gainesville who was accused of having sexually explicit conversations with multiple children online. The Alachua County and Gainesville ICAC Task Force received a tip indicating a Snapchat user was sending harmful material to a 14-year-old from the home of Aaron Eliot-Gaines, 33, on Southwest 68th Terrace. Investigators say the account participated in sexual conversations with multiple children, including one as young as 11 years old. During an interview with detectives, Eliot-Gaines admitted to owning the accounts and sharing sexually explicit photos of himself with the minors.
