A total of 77 University of South Carolina student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, announced Wednesday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. In total, 769 SEC student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll. The 77 total Gamecock student-athletes are tied for the most on the 2025-26 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, along with student-athletes from Georgia. Thus far in the 2025-26 academic year (counting Fall and Winter Academic Honor Rolls), South Carolina leads all SEC schools with 205 earning Academic Honor Roll status. Since the 2015-16 academic year, USC has the most student-athletes earn SEC Academic Honor Roll status with 4,430 on the list. The 2025-26 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll includes the sports of basketball, equestrian, gymnastics, and swimming & diving. It is based on grades from the 2025 Spring, Summer and Fall terms. Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport or a student-athlete who participates in a sport listed on his/her institution’s NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll.
