A girls soccer club coach in Germantown is accused of sending inappropriate Snapchats to a young girl. Prosecutors said James Weber, 32, exchanged messages with a young girl for about 200 consecutive days.According to a criminal complaint, Weber coached the girl and started sending her Snapchats in 2023 when she was 12. They continued through August 2024.Prosecutors listed some of the messages in the criminal complaint. One includes a message Weber is accused of sending that reads, “Your eyes had me lost today. Never stop looking at me with those.”In an interview with police, prosecutors said Weber admitted to giving the girl jewelry and sending the messages. The complaint said Weber said he felt “like he served as a father role” and “wouldn’t be surprised if there was something she took a certain way.”Weber is charged with nine counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.He’s set to appear in court next month.
