Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts announces birth of baby girl – BBC

Instagram/@nicolaroberts Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has announced the birth of her first child. In a social media post, the singer, 40, said her daughter had “arrived healthy and content a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks” and was “thriving”. Photos from her Instagram account show the star holding her baby, as well as her partner Mitch Hahn carrying the baby in a car seat. Roberts said: “It’s heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she’s ours”. Fellow celebrities congratulated Roberts and former non-league footballer Hahn in the comments on her post, including singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, TV presenters AJ Odudu and Katie Piper, and actress Michelle Keegan.
