GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Green Bay police are warning the public about a misleading Facebook post claiming a young officer was killed in a DUI crash during the Super Bowl. The department said the post falsely identifies the officer as a Green Bay police employee. Officials said the claim is not true. According to police, the same false information is circulating among other NFL fan communities, with each version claiming the officer was a member of that team’s fanbase.
