BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A man is set to face multiple charges after police say he sent sexually explicit images to an underage girl in Tennessee while he was employed as a teacher at a school in Indianapolis. Indiana State Police announced the arrest of 24-year-old Hunter Vires on Wednesday following a multi-agency investigation. Authorities initially became aware of Vires in early May when the Elizabethton Police Department, which is based in Tennessee, reached out to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. As the investigation unfolded, police determined that Vires resided in Bloomington and that he was employed as a teacher at an unidentified school based in Indianapolis. On Wednesday, Vires was located at a residence in northern Indiana and arrested without further incident. Following his arrest, detectives executed a search warrant at his home in Bloomington as they continued to search for additional evidence.
